I'm not sure if our relationship is ready for this miguel. Can't we slow down and just enjoy this moment before we ask for commitment? I mean I feel as though I just met you. And yes I enjoyed the teasing, and the stroking of ego, and the delicate carress of your french candian tongue upon the inner earhole of my head as no other has done before and will likely do since, but really, if I can't declare my alligience on your forum because of a lack of crucial information in the form of the other two races, I'm going to look oftly dumb for committing myself too earily and have to break hearts later. Please, make the forums interactive and evne part of your ARG.
Cheers.

there are like 3-4 sides which are about EC ^^ what would dakkadakka make this special to be the ones with exclusiv beta-access?
well maybe this post of patrick will answer your question
Kalmakk Ulfur
I apologise if this has been answered elsewhere, but I hadn't seen it in this thread, and I've been curious.
How do you plan to select players for alpha and closed beta testing? Will you open it up to a first come first served rule? Random lottery? Selected fanbase?
I swear this isn't a shameless wink and nudge, I'm genuinely curious about how you intend to stage it.
patrick
Haha, I would never think it is shameless to ask any question about the project
But that said, we haven't decided yet for a real 'system' there - from experience with other projects it will be a mix, some people we trust will be 'preselected', then there will be some random selections and for sure also a sort of first come first serve (e.g. by signing up for something in the future, or winning the ARG etc.)
As said, nothing set in stone yet, and we will try to make the chances for everyone fair, that I can promise!

I have never had any problems with understanding "Game Orkish" before - so I don't expect any problems with reading and understanding newsletter written like that.
Or to be honest - I don't expec that anyone, especially on Dakka will have such an issue.
Brent Ellison is described as: "(...)Brent, our lead game designer, is a Bad Moons player and a Waaagh! Fanatic(...)" - he will manage. I am sure of that.
Or, he will be assisted by that guy responsible for ork fluff.
I hope it will be hilarious
Cheers

From one thing to another, I hope they make it as grim as the 40k universe is. Another WoW clone with cartoony feeling will make me a sad panda:( this is what I wanna see:
"But the supreme horror was mounted on the tanks’ frontal sections.
The still-living bodies of the Ultramarine assault squad were crucified on crude iron crosses bolted to the hulls. Their armour had been torn off, their ribcages sawn open then spread wide like obscene angels’ wings.
Glistening ropes of entrails hung from their opened bellies and they wept blood from blackened, empty eye sockets and tongue-less mouths.
That they could still be alive was impossible, yet Uriel could see their hearts still beat with life, could see the abject horror of pain in their contorted features."

Why not? I think this could be a perfect example for purchasable customisation.
Planetside 2 gives you a dozen different kinds of wheels for your APC ... Dark Crusade could have a selection of various bodies to nail to your CSM tank, with prices reflecting the "rarity" of the victim's army.

Well, I wasn't exactly after the mounting of a body
I was just talking about the general feeling of the atmosphere in the game, the same feeling you get when you read that part.
That's the kind of feeling I want when playing the game! Dark, grim and totally bad ass!

I have two questions.
1. What's the biggest explosion proposed in the game knowing that Titan's can be fielded?
2. What's the single most destructive force in the game world? I.e. a well disciplined army, the weather, a device, the tyrannid horde?

where you got this info from?
my last info about Titans is this:
Q:
Will we get titans?
A (20-25.08.2013 Brent):
Sorry. :( We're focusing on a smaller scale experience, so we won't have Titans.
