This game sounds like it is going to be amazing, I hope it makes it to completion. I am also impressed with the involvement with the community. I am very excited for this project.
A Heretic may see the truth and seek redemption. He may be forgiven his past and will be absolved in death. A Traitor can never be forgiven. A Traitor will never find peace in this world or the next. There is nothing as wretched or as hated in all the world as a Traitor. - Cardinal Khrysdam, Instructum Absolutio
Btw, I'm not sure what the budget is for the music, but I love listening to good music while playing my games, especially if it's themed correctly.
If you're looking for an artist that's not quite as expensive as Hans Zimmer, Jesper Kyd, Frank Kelpaki, or the other greats, I have a cheaper alternative who's amazing at making music.
Morgan Page.
Give this man access to a choir and he'd make some of the best electronic / orchestral music you've ever heard:
He'd be a great option for the Eldar, and with some deeper and even some rock influences he'd be able to make some seriously wicked music.
Well, I am not to proud of this one. It was our first live ''in character'' presentation and we had a tech issue with PowerPoint where for the first 3 slides I could not read my script and I had to improvise.... Improvising is my second name but NOT when David had a Script and where YOU the fans are more knowledgeable than me in the 40K lore. David would of been a better candidate for improvisation since he is the Creative and knows everything about 40k but Nooooooo!!! I had the be the one where the script disappeared. Try with gloves to use the glide pad to zoom out the text so I could read mine while giving a presentation in a 50 pounds cashmere wool costumes. Not Fun!!!
Hopefully Crusaders you accept my apologies for calling the Imperium.... the Empire of men. etc... If we ever do another in character presentation I promise I will do you proud not only with the costume but with what I say as well.

The costumes more than made up for it. And anyways - I chalked it up to a language barrier, so no harm done, just roll with it.
We also give points for the effort! It was good, it's nice to see devs being pasionate about the work they do!
just keep the good work!
P.S.
Could we get the Power point slides, the Art looked really good on them!
P.P.S.
the laugh in the last post is not cause of your presentation, but cause grigdusher has beaten me to posting the video by few seconds (video didnt show when i made the post)

Really excited about this game! Only issue I have at the moment, is that I'm worried about is the game combat might get repetitive as it will be on consoles aswell. I hope it's not to much like space marine : ( as it was an awesome game! but got very repetitive. I hope you guys have something in store for us to blow us away!
More than anything, I love the involvement you guys, are having with us its, nothing I have seen before from another gaming studio!
keep the good work up!!

I'd expect a gameplay demo or some other in-game screenies. Or maybe an engine announcement? AFAIK we're all speculating it's Unity, but you never know, right?
Trying to imagine what its gonna feel like the very first time drop podding down onto the planet with a squad into a huge battle already under way, bolter and slugga rounds firing eveywhere, tanks rolling up, the smoke from their blasts pushing along the ground, war cries signalling their challenges, heroes seen in the thickest of the fighting. God damn the hype for this gameplay presentation is reaching high levels.

It'd be like a squad spawn in PS2 except with much more epic levels of AWESOME.
Does anyone know if we are able to play a chaos cultist? Since I run a cultist chaos army on table top.
Possible but I would doubt it, the four factions are SM, CSM, Eldar, and Orks, and cultists are distinct from CSM structure (even though they're used more heavily than Serfs for Loyalists).
Yeah, I would not expect it at all - though there is potential in that idea, if the developer ever wants to expand the "play for free" idea beyond Ork Boyz. There can never be enough cannonfodder!
may I just ask; is there a F2P 'class' for each Race, or just boyz?
Experience is something you get just after you need it The Narkos Dynasty - 15k Iron Hands - 12k The Shadewatch - 3k Cadmus Outriders - 4k Alpha Legion Raiders - 3k
Think its just boys that are f2p right? Although in the future that sounds like a good idea to have IG, cultists and perhaps guardians as the f2p classes for all races.

That would be a good idea.
I will buy the game but if the cultist option is there I will dedicate my self to making my cultist as awesome as possible, they did say people who buy the game will have more options *crosses fingers*.

I'm surprised (pleasantly) to hear that Sisters seem to have such a notable backing by the fans who are looking forward to this title.
The thing about "Tyranid PvE dungeons" is interesting as well. Personally, I'm looking forward to the PvP, but I know a number of posters mentioned they'd be more comfortable with computer enemies. Looks like the game will now cater to both, by essentially making PvE players help the PvPers achieve their faction's global objective.

ya i think pure PvE will be more like a "last stand" (DoW) or "exterminatus" (Space marine) which sounds like lots of fun with a full squad and hords of nids who want to eat you
i hope it will be very difficult and that you need to safe as much ammo as you can to survive
cant wait to see someone getting executed by a carnifex
and btw. more then 1 free2play faction/class would kill the hordfeeling of the orks and IG as SM f2p would kill a whole future faction!
While it's weird that he referred to Sisters as "more of a subfaction" when they've consistently had their own codexes and aren't actually a subfaction of anything, it is very encouraging that they're in the top three most requested armies.
That aside, the rest of the interview was very good. Sounds like they're on-track. I remain optimistic about this game.

well maybe because sisters are part of the imperium like spacemarines. but they want the factions like they are in TT so we dont need to worry
i dont like the part about the sword which you can buy in shop
