Oh, I'm not worried. Aside from what you said, the creative director, David Ghozland, said on twitter that they were on the post-launch list to be added. Though for some reason he did say that they'd need a 6e codex first, though I'm confident that they shall have one by that point anyway.
I don't mean to be rude, but I think that Miguel doesn't know a great deal about the Sisters, so he sometimes says incorrect things about them in interviews. Not that I blame him for that, it's easy to get wrong ideas them when they're a fairly obscure army. Also Lynata did email them most of the SoB lore in existence (at their request!), so I think they'll be portrayed fine when their time comes.
Savij wrote: i dont like the part about the sword which you can buy in shop
I dunno... Personally, I like it. It should nicely reduce any paying to win, and it rewards the player who puts in effort more than the one who doesn't.

miguel is a human like we all (even if he is from canada ;D) so to get something wrong or forget something in a big universe like wh40k is just human i think the prob with SoB was that some strange greyknights used thair blood to kill deamons but i dont think that this was a real reason
im happy that they got the big 4 in and thats good
for the cash shop i would more like cosmetic stuff only with maybe some boosts to safe time
i would love to see a wide range of customization for your character and equipment
different warcrys to "taunt" your enemy
different exectuion animation
customizationstuff for your vehicles
customization stuff for your spaceship
factionswap
additional char slots
all kind of mini upgrades for those who dont want to buy the whole game (unlocking eldar or SM etc)
i think that would do great for a non P2W cashshop
cause if you can buy a weapon that is like 5% stronger then other weapons, some people would start to shout "P2W you bastards!!!!" and that would be bad for EC they said the same about the orkboys at early state of EC cause they are free 2 play and weaker then others who bought the game = P2W
For the cash shop i actually like the 20% reduction, and most of my guild said they wouldn't mind it like that.
World of Tanks has similar idea with the "Premium tanks" they go only to tier8(out of max tier 10), the only difference is that they usualy have one stat that is "similar" to a Tier 10 tank, but has drawbacks on other stats (T34 has big Penetration but slow reload and paper armor, KV5 has great armor but is slow with weak gun).
So if they give possibilities for a new player to buy some gun or piece of equipment with real cash, but it has 20% lower stats than the relic gun you aquired in a dungeon after killing some carnifex, i wouldn't mind. I feel Cool with my Relic item and i know I'm badass for killing the carnifex, and the new guy gave cash to Behavior that uses it to improve game for both of us. So i see it as Win-Win for everyone.

Indeed. I'm very much looking forward to the customisation aspect of this. It's something that lots of us like to do on the tabletop too, so it seems appropriate to have it ingame.

But the non-shop equivilant of that same sword would be stronger, so it shouldn't be too much of an issue. If you want a better version of a sword than somebody who's paid for it, just go out an play the game and earn it.

I really fear for that ingame shop and the f2p aspect.. I know it's something they can't get around these days basically, but it will affect the game, one way or the other.
A bit of fear is understandable and justified, but as long as the more powerful stuff is still limited to actual gameplay achievements, such shop purchases represent merely a shortcut. In an environment where you play alongside players of any degree of veterancy - from the freshly joined rookie who has only his basic bolter all the way to the Veteran Marine with his artificer armour, relic power sword and improved boltgun with M38 targeter and kraken penetrator rounds - it doesn't really matter if a shop purchase lets you skip 2 weeks of grind or not. What matters is that it's not "pay to win" since the most powerful items, those that do let you win even against veterans, are still limited to honest acquisition via standard gameplay.
And as you say, the game needs to make money to survive. Sceptical players can always consider putting as much money aside as they would've been willing to pay for a subscription, and then use these finances in the shop.
Personally, I'm more looking forward to the customisation as well, though.
Troike wrote:Also Lynata did email them most of the SoB lore in existence (at their request!), so I think they'll be portrayed fine when their time comes.
And I'll gladly pester them again when the time comes some day in the future. You hear that, Miguel, I've got your team's addresses saved! But honestly, from all I've read so far they really seem like a cool bunch. I'd consider submitting my resume if I didn't have a job already. Anyways, the way they've been communicating with the fanbase seems to include suggestions from the fanbase, so when/if they finally get to the Sisters I'm sure they'll collect opinions from around the web, allowing their fans to have a bit of say. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here, regardless of some strange remarks in past interviews. As you said, Sisters fluff is a bit elusive and not nearly as well known as that of the Space Marines, so initial misconceptions are to be expected. Just look at what people on dakka sometimes think!
Troike wrote:While it's weird that he referred to Sisters as "more of a subfaction" when they've consistently had their own codexes and aren't actually a subfaction of anything, [...]
Maybe they're still thinking of the Sisters as more of a part of the Inquisition? Lots of dakkanauts made the same mistake just because what was our Codex in 3rd and 4th edition focused so heavily on their role as Chamber Militant of the Ordo Hereticus.
Either that, or it may have been a mistranslation and they were referring to the Sisters' out-of-universe fate of being a fairly neglected army in GW's selection.

I'm still cautiously optimistic on this one; I've just been dissapointed by a lot of otherwise promising games as of late, and can't muster much enthusiasm. Unlike a lot of other companies, they seem to have both a solid, interesting and ambitious game design, and a good business outlook; good community interaction, they seem genuinely interested in outside ideas and criticisms, all good marks. Perhaps it comes with being a small company which really wants to prove itself (remember how awesome Infinity Ward and Bioware started off as?), but I like what I see, and have no empirical reason to believe I'll be dissapointed, just deep-seated pessimism.
I'm also a Guard fan, and I think a part of my soul will always be missing until I can play a member of the Death Korps or Steel Legion in a video game.
Therefore, I conclude, Valve should announce Half Life 2: Episode 3.
So I'm kinda going back to friendly fire, but I'd like to suggest putting "bounties" on players regardless of faction. The bounty would depend on their notority. Once a bounty has been placed, only the player and up to his/her strike force can collect it depending on the bounty placed. Itd be a tiered system, so higher level players (like those on the War Council) would fetch enormous bounties and at minimum must be placed by an entire squad, but low level players would be almost worthless and could only be killed by the player that placed it.
Good question. Tier one: would be one on one bountys, so if a bounty is placed on your head and you kill the bounty hunter they must reset the bounty. This type of bounty can be set by anyone, but is expensive if you fail l to collect because failing it automatically increases the minimum ante players must pay to start the process. Vendetta bountys can only be placed on lower level characters if they have killed you in the past.
Tier two: squad level grudges-if there's a rival squad, why not take them out?
Tier three: "Honor the Chapter" would be a challenge between two strike forces on a single other enemy strike force. Those that kill the most players gain prestige and rewards.
Tier four: Coup de'tat. This bounty can only be placed by a player who is eligible to be on the War Council. He must have at least fifty players who back him/her. The target can only be an incumbent War Council member while eligible for voting. Collecting the bounty subtracts votes from the target and adds it to the hunters ballot.
Think that's about it. Hard to write on a phone. Suggestions?
Im down with a bounty system for the xenos and heretics, high priority targets like a warboss who dishonoured the blood angels with an ambush during a challenge.
But I dunno, doesnt marines killing off other marines seem a little heretical?
True. Perhaps some sort of way to incapaticate another player on your team. The DEs and SWs duel all the time and if it determined who lead the war effort, its almost certain that they'd get violently political even if they werent lethal.

The bounty system idea seems like a little too much right now. Let's see if they can actually deliver a base product that's successful before we start throwing out our random ideas to make a game "better". Heck, the game is still an idea at the moment and "we" are already adding factions and making suggestions for gameplay mechanics!
A Heretic may see the truth and seek redemption. He may be forgiven his past and will be absolved in death. A Traitor can never be forgiven. A Traitor will never find peace in this world or the next. There is nothing as wretched or as hated in all the world as a Traitor. - Cardinal Khrysdam, Instructum Absolutio

Nah, they've started coding and modeling.
Yeah one of the vids showed they actually had stuff moving around too.
Well, it would seem perfectly plausable to put some sort of high level bounty system on the already confirmed political system that will develop naturally in the game. Coups happen quite often in the 40k universe in virtually every faction.. even the SMs have it; look at "Chaos Rising"... if its possible to plant false evidence or to interpet natural phenomena mistakenly all that needs to happen is somebody to scream heretic and the IoM cuts itself maddenly in another civil war. No faction is immune from political greed/insurrection.
Not sure if this is relevant, but one of the level designers is having an ongoing Dark Heresy game with some youtube personalities. A bit old news though

A longbeard when it comes to Necrons and WHFB. Grumble Grumble
Ex military here and avid WAR gamer. Played WARhammer Online since release, and finally bowed out late last year. I've recently discovered 40KEC will be coming out in 2015, and have several questions/thoughts. I'll keep adding them to this post as they come to mind, so if you see 50 edits, well, you'll know why.
Since I started talking about Warhammer Online, I'll dive right in and ask... Will you the Devs of 40K be taking some pages out of the WAR Online MMO when it comes to RVR(Realms versus Realm)? ie progressive capturing of zones, keeps, zone locking, controlling resources, ect? I hope to god it's not simply 4 factions and 4 forts with no other strategic objectives and a few resources scattered in here and there. Will there be TACTICAL/local objectives that can be captured/controlled(ie machine gun bunkers, hill tops with trench networks, respawn points) in addition to strategic objectives(bridges, cities, villages, railroads, airfields, mines, ect). There's a niche game that's been out since 2001, called Battleground Europe by Cornered Rat Software. Set in May 1940, the campaign covers the areas of Europe during the outset of WWII. Their PVP campaigns stretch on for months on end, and the game map is massive(one massive zone), persistant, and online 24/7. You can literally fly from one end of Europe to the next in BE. You can fly fighters, bombers, fighter/bombers, drive tanks, apcs, man AA guns, man anti tank guns, or play as infantry. The map ebbs and flows ONLY according to player conquests of areas of control. Sounds extremely similar to what Behavior Interactive is wanting to do with EC. The guys at CRS have been fine tuning their virtual battlefield for 12 years now. It might not hurt to check out the game, and even touch basis with their devs. Surely there are many "lessons learned" considering they've been at it 12 years.
As far as vehicles and damage models. Will you have realistic damage models, trajectory models for anti vehicle projectiles, ect? Realistic flight sim models for your aircraft? Nothing cheesier in todays games that crapasstic "shoot the enemy tank X amount of times anywhere and tank goes boom". Rounds that never richochet, no spalling of projectiles. Will there be different type munitions for our armored vehicles? High Explosive(HE), Armor Piercing(AP), HEAT rounds(High Explosive Anti Tank). I guess back when I started gaming, the first tank combat video games that came out were done by tank fanatics, that knew their tanks in and out, that were hell bent on putting as realistic of a model in their game as possible.
Now days any games with tanks or vehicles, the vehicles and tanks are afterthoughts. The damage models are garbage, ammo is all generic, the sim aspect of manning the tank or vehicle is garbage, often "3rd person view". There's no sitting in the commander hatch peeking out with your binocs looking for targets(no need in todays games with minimaps and HUGE red tags over all your enemy targets), there's no scanning the field from the gunners seat using the main gun sight. Seems most of todays "tank sims" are made for the 8 to 18 year old crowd, where vehicles are made to be driven as many times as possible and as quickly as possible straight into enemy lines where they are instantly destroyed over and over again. Mission duration in todays "tank games" are 30 seconds or less. Utter garbage IMO. I've regularly spent 3 hours or more in a single tank(with no deaths, no respawns) with multiple enemy engagements in a couple of other online tanks sims I've played. I truly hope B.I. doesn't go down the "fast action, no brain" path when implementing the vehicle/armor aspect of EC.
Again, I'll suggest taking at look at Battleground Europe, and what the guys at Cornered Rat Software have done with their vehicle and aircraft damage models. They're extremely detailed and realistic. Minimal HUD, you can man each station in the tank(commander, gunner, loader, driver), as well as multi crew a tank(or aircraft) with a team mate(invite only).
As far as HUD, Minimaps, friendly fire, ect. One aspect I really like about the Warhammer 40K Space Marine(Xbox360) is the fact that there is NO minimap, and NO red tags over enemy heads. It gives the game a more visceral feel. You have to actually look and listen for your enemies, instead of being babied and pampered with a COD'esque minimap and red nametags over enemies. Again, most of todays shooters, MMO's, spoon feed you the action, as quickly and as many times as possible in as short amount of time of possible. Garbage in my book. Here's to the hopes that B.I. chooses to go with MINIMAL hud, in the hopes that players will have to rely on their wits and situational awareness, along with communicating with their team mates, rather than being SPOON FED enemy locations with a persistent minimaps that show every single enemy location in their immediate area, along with magical red tags above all enemy combatants. I actually hope there is also a hardcore server with friendly fire activated, for the most realistic gaming experience possible. Give me a game with no minimaps, no red tags over enemy heads, realistic friendly fire, now we're talking EPIC. Imagine that, having to actually look and listen for the enemy, the need to communicate with team mates to find and fix enemy locations, no magic bullets that pass through friendlies with no effect... I'm sure COD fanbois would cry in agony, but is Eternal Crusade and Games Workshop really going to cater to the COD crowd?
Will you being going with "Pretty boy" Warhammer 40k, or gritty, true to lore 40k? When I say pretty boy, I look at most of the Armor models in Warhammer 40K Space Marine(Xbox360), for the most part it's all really clean, and all chapters pretty much look the same. If you're going the generic route like they did with 40K Space Marine(Xbox360), where Space Wolves look like Ultramarines look like Dark Angels look like Iron Fists, but you're simply changing the armor colors and shoulder markers according to each unit, I'd say that would be an EPIC fail of the most EPIC proportions. Space Wolves should have the furs and wolf heads adorning their armor, Ultramarines and DA with other chapter specific uniform/armor modifications. I played Defiance(Xbox360) and saw first hand the measures they took in order to get hundreds of players in the same general area. It was an "army of clones" where everyone looked exactly alike, and it was sickening. Warhammer Online had some epic fort and keep sieges with literally hundreds attacking and defending, and we didn't have to endure the "army of clones". I think most fans of the 40K universe would rather have ROBUST character customization, and see their character customization remain in tact at the cost of slightly smaller sized PVP battles. For me personally, character customization in an MMO can make or break a game for me at character creation, before I even set foot in the game world. I've tried a few MMO's and never made it past character creation, because all the models look bad to me. If I'm forced to run around game world looking exactly like all my team mates, or if I cant stand how my character looks, I'm probably not going to hang around that long.
Mini-games, scenarios, instanced pvp matches. While having a game centered around a Realm vs Realm "grande campaign" is awesome in itself, it's also awesome, and my opinion ESSENTIAL to honing small unit tactics, to be able to jump into a mini-game/scenarios if you only have a few friends on or a small window of opportunity to play. You might not have the numbers of team mates to go pull off a full on large scale frontal assault on the enemy out in open RVR, but you might have a couple friends online, just enough to hop into a mini-match or 2 until the rest of your guild/clan/chapter log in.
If you're going to implement instanced PVP matches, please do it right. Implement different type matches and multiple maps. Some with vehicles, some without. Consider these mini-matches training missions, starting players off at level 1, day 1, whatever... with infantry vs infantry matches, then as they rank/progress, tank vs tank, then longer, larger scale "combined arms exercises" where infantry, armor, and aircraft are all involved and working together. Players can take what they've learned in the minigames and apply that knowledge in open world RVR. The last MMO I tried, Defiance(Xbox360), the mini-games were terrible and often lasted 5 minutes or less. In my opinion they shouldn't even have bothered because they were so poorly done, and the pvp was glitchy, laggy, just awful. If you're not considering on implementing these type of instanced pvp matches, I'd beg for you to reconsider. I've played open world RVR/PVP games since 2001, and being able to hop between game modes in the same game considerably increases a games longevity for the individual player.

I linked that a while ago. Steven is doing a fine job with that.
It has a driver and a commander seat and a gunner seat.
its done from said soldiers eyes so their is actually an advantage to which soldier you are. Commander has a 360 view or can open the hatch for better clear view (but risk being shot) gunners can only see what the gun sees, and driver has great foward view but thats it really.

There will be objectives to fight over and an army can "Win" a campaign much in the same way of a capital city can be seized in WAR. There is requisition in the game (it's you're in game currency) so one can only imagine that to gain more resources for your faction, you'd need more resource rich territory.
The guys at CRS have been fine tuning their virtual battlefield for 12 years now. It might not hurt to check out the game, and even touch basis with their devs. Surely there are many "lessons learned" considering they've been at it 12 years.
I agree at the Devs researching whatever they can with whomever they can. Good luck with some of them though since they'll be competitors....
Will there be different type munitions for our armored vehicles? High Explosive(HE), Armor Piercing(AP), HEAT rounds(High Explosive Anti Tank).
In the main gun? Probably not. A lascannon is a lascannon. Can you switch out the weapons like you can in the codex? I'd see a problem with the game already if you couldn't.
......Vehicles are made to be driven as many times as possible and as quickly as possible straight into enemy lines where they are instantly destroyed over and over again. I really enjoy being able to switch to 3rd person view in a tank, it makes it much easier to maneuver, especially in tight spaces - i.e. city fights. Upgrades, like auspex scanners that detect moving or shooting targets would be really nice too - but can only be viewed from the inside view of the tank. It won't protect you from ambushes, but may help engage multiple targets at once. I agree though, knowing where every single enemy is at all times isn't realistic and should not be implemented on an individual level... but on a higher level... definitely "laughs maniacally and points to a later response.."
Again, I'll suggest taking at look at Battleground Europe, and what the guys at Cornered Rat Software have done with their vehicle and aircraft damage models. Not sure if I'd like that tbh. Minimize the tedious aspects of Grimdark - they aren't meant to be fun. A SM Predator Tank really only needs two players, a commander (who can drive and shoot it's main weapon on it's own), and a navigator, who can man the electronics, and secondary weapons. B4F may be "dumb" but it's simplicity and ability to shrug off uncooperative teammates while simultaneously rewarding teams that work together is gorgeous. That said however, I'd understand a Superheavy requiring multiple crew, and because it takes resources, effort, and time to actually build tanks in EC, players aren't as likely to drive in a spearhead formation without support considering they won't be able to do it again for a limited time.
As far as HUD, Minimaps, friendly fire, ect. One aspect I really like about the Warhammer 40K Space Marine(Xbox360) is the fact that there is NO minimap, and NO red tags over enemy heads.
I liked this as well. It worked because players were distinct in shape from one another, which goes well with this next question.
Will you being going with "Pretty boy" Warhammer 40k [Space Marine], or gritty, [more distinctive customization]?
They're balancing the artwork with the performance of the game. They want lots of customization as much as you or I do, but with 1000 players running in an area at once, it may be difficult to have that be a main focus in the game. I'm assuming (with an educated guess) we can also buy trinkets to attach to our armor. They'd honestly be fools if they didn't do something like that - I'm just hoping that our "skins" aren't all on the store, I'd prefer that about 50-60% of them could be unlocked doing heroic deeds - like getting Tyranid claws on a belt or bandoleer - and the other 50-40% would be "I really love this game and I really want that awesome wolf teeth pendant around my neck to prove it." Like LoL's Runes and Skins. Runes increase your stats and can only be purchased by earning them, and the Skins just make you look cool.
Mini-games, scenarios, instanced pvp matches. While having a game centered around a Realm vs Realm "grande campaign" is awesome in itself, it's also awesome, and my opinion ESSENTIAL to honing small unit tactics.

I agree, but having BG's seriously detracts from the open world population and core of this game revolving around the ground campaign. As such, I propose that BG's work in the following way: They are political affairs that help determine who is represented on the WAR council. Each race votes on a monthly basis with elections taking a week to complete. Each faction has it's own week when the incumbents can be challenged. I.e Orks - Week 1, Eldar Week 2, IoM, Week 3, Chaos Week 4. In this time, Aspiring Warlords come out of the woodwork and challenge the current War Council members in the glorious arenas. Aspiring Warlords must be present in the BG, and may bring with them up to 9 other members from their Strike Force. War Council members do not have to present and may nominate a trusted ally within their own Strikeforce to represent them if they wish. Strikeforces can send multiple delegates, but only one can win the prize of the BG. Each BG is treated like a congressional district in the US political system and is worth a certain amount of votes depending on how difficult it is. Like the political system in the US, it's winner takes all, so the stakes are high, because although players can be elected by popular vote, others can gain/take power by military prowess in the "Fields of Honor." Unlike the US political system, the FoH are not limited to 2 parties - or the borders of the nation. All that is required is that you have 9 good friends that have elected you to lead them into political hell, where only your tactics and friends can be trusted. You can also make temporary alliances in the lobby before each match to increase your odds... but at what point will greed take hold? You can also try to capture enemy territory during the off weeks of the elections, invading xenos or heretical territory at an underdog's shot of stealing the political vote from them as well.
*maniacal laughter returns*
One of the War Council perks should be the ability to grant satellite scans to battlefield positions, giving those with Auspex Scanners the ability to seek and destroy campers and know the exact location of enemy positions (to be shelled and otherwise destroyed with extreme prejudice).... some of these perks should be available to a Council Member who dares step into the arena (temporarily taking themselves away from the war effort)... an incumbant in a political system is a formidable foe after all..

Welcome to the forum brother, I'm also ex mil.
While I do agree on most of what you wrote, I have to say that the "true simulator feeling" you're asking for might not be what this game needs.
There's a reason Battleground Europe have, what, some xx thousands of players? While BF3 for example sold 15 million copies.
I hope this game will be released and not suffer the fate of Dark Millennium Online.
I hope this game will get enough players so it will last X number of years.
I hope this game will be somewhat true to the lore.
But I understand that it's a balance act, you have to cater to the die hard fans of WH40k at the same time you have to please the majority of "normal" gamers.
Otherwise you won't sell enough copies.
You mentioned ballistics and different types of ammuntion, I approve of that!
Look at BF3, they've managed to incorporate different type of ammuniton, bullet drop and different weapon for different targets.
But at the same time not making it into OP Flashpoint or ARMA.
As a sidenote, I don't play BF3 in normal, only hardcore and when it's available, no minimap.
I just don't want this to become some crazed hard core 40k game with too much "realism" and no fun left in it because of that. The only people playing it would be the fanatic 40k fans that hang here^^
Will you be taking some inspiration from the FFG Roleplaying games for Warhammer 40k?
There's plenty of upgrades within it for all the various weaponry as well as interesting non-combat items for use.
While I love the standard bolter, I also love me a Bolter armed with Fire Selector (Up to three different clips loaded in one gun, for use with Special ammunition), Preysense Sight (Thermal Imaging for Darkness and Night fighting) with special ammunition.
Mostly I want to see all the various Black Crusade creations, Mutations, as well as the special Heratek equipment, rather then seeing CSM as purely Space Marines - 1.
Give me Man Handled Ectoplasm Launchers over Plasma Cannons anyday.

Too much to answer to you all. I had a very big milestones to deliver for the last 3 weeks and was away from Dakka Dakka for a while. BTW thanks for ''protecting'' me guys. Yes I am just an exec and I have been involved with 40K for only 2 years since I put the team together before I join Behaviour. Now I am back from London after spending a week at Games Workshop and being there for Games Days. I wont make any more mistakes on our beloved Sisters of Battles.... I Promises. Remember that sometimes in article I am speaking to CASUAL players and makes things simple of a not so simple IP. so now..... in very short bullet will try to answer some of your questions.
1-NO PAY TO WIN
2-Keeping point 1 in mind, when I give EXEMPLE please take them as exemple. The 20% less power (NOT less money!!! that comment made me laugh) exemple I made regarding Conan works for a PvE MMO but not for a PvP since pay to win is way worst against players so the Rogue Trader store will offer.... well what Rogue Trader offers. ;-) a lot will have to do with looks but if we add gameplay items again trust me when I tell you they will not be pay to win. Maybe it will be an un-upgradable items (vs the upgradable one in game) and a switch in specs (power 10 resistance 8 vs power 8 resistance 10). All is not design yet but...... IT WILL NOT BE PAY TO WIN. :-)
3-We will take inspiration for all but mainly from the (capital letter for me is excitement... not screaming...well screaming from excitement) not one but TWO of the BEST Black Library writers...... I will announce it soon and the back story of Eternal Crusade is AMAZING!!! just a quick reveal (please dont share outside this forum... its my gift to you for being so kind to me) Our planet is in Segmentum Obscurus. :-)
4-I am an ex-military Intel Officer and I studied in Royal Military Colege of Canada. Did my bachelor degree in Military Strategy! :-)
5-Our game is NOT a 3rd person shooter. Its a Massive Combat RPG. Melee is as important as range. Please stop calling it a shooter... if not... well you will see how sharp is my powersword or feel the bit of my Chain Sword when I execute you on the ground, kick you, and split you in half with it (its a real ingame execution) :-)
6-Political skeem and coup..... BUT OF COURSE.... did you guys follow us so far... we are making a 40K game and Player Driven. What happens outside Eve Online will happen inside our game since we will give you the tool to make ''deal'' with other faction.... deals in the 40K Universe might mean a lot of things.....
7-MajorStoffer, You would make a good inquisitor with your Pessimism, but if you follow us you will see that we do almost EVERYTHING different than other mainstream studio. Just the fact I am speaking with you casually is a proof. If after seeing what we do does not convince you well, then I guess you would make a good Imperial Soldier (read only if you have a good sense of humor pls) since AN EMPTY MIND IS A LOYAL MIND! :-)
8-Get ready for a lot of reveal in the next 2-3 weeks. Eldar and Chaos as well as an AMA and maybe....maybe some Alpha footage.

this is the only little thing that still not convice me of the entire game, not for the power of the item, but my idea of "god tier item shop" it's about the skin of the item and not the stat of the item, because if i found/buy a cool looking bolter for my space wolf (for example a wolfen wolf bolter of the great wolf lord of wolf with some wolf fang and wolf skull on it) and after i get a "holy relic bolter" with better stat for my build, i want the stat of the holy but the skin of the wolf bolter. i will love the customization of the game if feature a "appreareance slot" "put weapon/armor here for use the appeareance instead of the equipped"
"next" to the eye of terror so it make more sense to see a lot of different space marine chaos legion eldar craftworld and orks clan fighting for the same planet.

And I agree with you. In doubt, please remember that we WONT have pay2win in the game. This is a hard promise that I have to balance with revenue AND with the fact its a PvP centric game. The big P2W things are easy to spot and avoid but the small one that creeps in are tougher. One continent will be around 16 Km square... HUGE... is a Rogue Trader Store speeder is P2W?!?!? (mount) The design team and I will make sure that they dont creep in. I promise you. Anyway, these are all things that YOU will help us test in BETA.

Personally I'd recommend the far flung Ultrimar Sector. If you are planning to add in Tau, it's the only place you can easily integrate it without jumping through hoops (which chaos and the warp can easily do ). Along with that, Tyranids are heavy in this sector (more so than in many others), and there are several warp storms nearby.
