Hello,
I was curious if there is any new or already made scenario for a Zombie survival or mission. I did a search and all the links that were posted are not valid anymore and cant seem to find anything on the infinity forums. So just wondering if anyone has a file of it or has a working link. Got a lot of Sedition Wars stuff id like to put to use!

Funny you should mention this! I had a good search and found a great set of rules..
http://infinitythegame.com/forum/index.php?/topic/4975-zombie-agent-mardi-gras-now-with-scenario/
Take a look through these, I've playtested them quite a lot and they work pretty well (although you need to change the rules a little for mass-zombie situations, otherwise the game slows to a crawl).
They are however made to go with the Sedition Wars miniatures, and suit the background of a sci-fi 'nano virus' type scenario perfectly.
Nothing at all to do with the scenario planned for an event we are running tomorrow..

We just played a zombie scenario we just made up. It turned out to be fun even though some rules had to be made up on they fly....anyway it was just a fun multiplayer game at 100 points per player...and a 250 JSA vs zombies.
It got inspired from World war Z movie... where players had to race each other in a medical complex full of zombies to get to the vault with the essential viruses. During the first game everyone got eaten
Trick is to not take the game too seriously and just have some multiplayer fun.... before we played I told everyone that the rules were designed so that everyone would lose. However one player was smart enough to take advantage of the rules. I had a rule that zombies become impetuous towards gunfire. So he had some of his forces make some noise and draw the zombie mobs away from the objective...then had his ninja sneak to take the objective...though he lost about half his army to the mob.
The games lasted for about an hour per game ( 3 games played)...so not too bad.

Problem with Zombie-like games is that you KNOW you're going to be outnumbered. Thus, take a Total Reaction model and you just destroy everything.
Additionally, keep your models together, and the combined ARO of all of them should be enough to destroy any mindless zombie.
There should be a mechanic for limiting AROs.
I read that thread, but I don't understand.
Why does it have STR and not W? Does regeneration even affect ATR?
Why is it HI?
Why does it not have V:Courage or V ogged?

Absolutionis - the important point for all of my replies below is that this type of 'zombie' is some kind of nannite strain/virus that has been released (think of the 'strain' from sedition wars) - viewed in this context a lot of the below makes sense. Although with the caveat that this is only this type of zombie - I guess a more 'walking dead' style zombie would have different rules, a 24-days later zombie could be faster etc.
I think also (although I can't speak for the guy who made the rules), he has tried to conceptualise everything using rules and terms that the Infinity player will be familiar with, rather than creating new special rules. So, a unit is ' HI', not because it is actually HI how we understand it, but because it limits the movement (stopping the player being completely overwhelmed after 1 turn) and means that the 'zombies' are vulnerable to hacking and E/M weaponry (which fits the background of what these zombies are). Same too with it having structure points.

I've had a lot of fun playing this mission, but I've found it's most fun when you play to the 'spirit' of what works best as a gamesmaster-run event. Don't tailor your list for it, I just ran an event the other day where I got round this by not telling the players what mission they would be playing beforehand

This helps a ton and I appreciate it!
I agree, the point is not to make a list that completely counters the type of game mode like this. This is for fun
I do plan to make some tweeks for when I will play this with my friends. Mostly to speed up game play a bit.
Things like....
If zombies are not critted, they fall over knocked down. Next turn they get up from impetious not causing a ARO. Critted is removed from table.
Any good models may spend part of their order " aiming". If aiming before taking a shoot action, they improve their crit chance by 3. So if a models BS is 13, they can crit on a 12,11,10 and the natural 13. This makes it risky as they cant move but has a better chance to kill them.
Maybe make snipers +6 to it, depends.
Hoping later this week to try these.

From experience, Total Reaction Remotes don't work as well as you'd think as they can't split burst in ARO. As there tend to be so many Zombies on the table, doing Coordinated Orders with them is very easy...
