Why do you have 2 hamey's but space for only 1 in your mech? The hexrifle on foot is just an easy KP that wont do much. Probably best to drop this one and get something else like reavers or upgrades here and there.

Dark lance warriors are meh, they will be snap shooting the lance every turn the raider moves, which it should be doing. The splinter boat needs splinter racks and night shields.

Wytches are subpar for cc, but you either want dual sharnets or dual offensive weapons. An agonizer is only good against power armor, for everything else take a venom blade for cheaper. GIve the raider aethersails so it can make combat.

Nothing much to add after Dr. Serling, but ravager with a single NS upgrade doesn't cost 125pts.

Ok, here's the new list. Baronyu, you're completely right. I originally had it with the FF also, but forgot to readjust the points.

Also, in response to the point about the agoniser, I was planning on using the wych squad as a TEQ or HQ hunting party, which would be pretty toothless without an agoniser, also hence the Shardnets. It can double nicely for tankbusting, but the main goal is to tie up the HQ/TEQ/Heavy Gunner units and take/contest far board objectives.

The Wracks will act as shock troops, flaming and pummeling through any MEQ or GEQ troops clogging up the main field, supported by the splinter boat, which could also serve to target any high toughness, or monstrous creatures around. The Trueborns, Ravager and Sniper Boat will all be tank/high priority artillery hunting.

HQ
1 Haemonculus - 65
Liquifier Gun and Shattershard with Wracks in Raider

Elites
Kabalite Trueborns - 173
4 Kabalite Trueborn with Blasters in Venom w/ Splinter Cannon Upgrade

Troops
Sniper Boat Warriors - 115
5 Warriors in a Raider w/ Nightshields

Splinter Boat Warriors - 170
10 Warriors, 1 Splinter Cannon, Raider w/ Splinter Racks

Wyches - 230
10 wyches, 2 Shardnet/Impaler,
Hexatrix w/ Agoniser, Haywire Grenades, Raider

Wracks - 120
5 Wracks with 1 Liquifier Gun in a Raider

Heavy Support
Ravager - 115
Nightshield

My big question now is whether or not to drop the splinter racks on the splinter boat to give one of the other raiders (or the venom) a nightshield. Both of them will be zooming around shooting after delivering their cargo.

Drop the Wyche weapons. You don't really need them at this point level, or any point level really. That should get you the points for night shields. Also, IMHO Night Shields are an all or nothing upgrade; as in every boat has one or none do. YMMV

You want to hunt TEQ and HQ's, so you bring an agonizer that is AP3? Against everything but power armor, the venom blade is better...and a 4th of the price at all times. Even against a 3+ armor HQ, you will likely be dealing with a 4++ or 5++ as well, so the agonizer does not exactly stick wounds. Also, if you are against T3 units the venom blade re rolls to wound...and if you have furious charge from pain tokens, +1 strength or re roll to wound from drugs you also re roll to wound against T4 units, ensuring plenty of wounds from the venom blade where the agonizer always wounds on 4+ and is not poisoned so does not benefit from strength boosts. Since the trix is your only character, she can be challenged out, or if you deny the challenge the agonizer wont strike anyways...better to take the venom blade and spend the points elsewhere. Once in a challenge, you are a 1 wound T3 model with a 4++, not exactly hard to kill so the venom blade mitigates losses should you die in combat or get shot down before.. You could get night shields for the wrack raider and a venom blade on the hamey if you swap the aggy for a venom blade.

If you want your CC girls to be TEQ hunters... well... eh. But anyway, if you DO go TEQ hunting - a veno-blade is better than an agoniser. The agoniser won't ignore armour and wounds on a worse statistic. If you want to go MEQ hunting then the agoniser is your friend. IMO use the Wyches as MEQ hunters and rely on darklight to kill TEQ. At 1k points there won't be a huge amount of offensive armour (most likely rhinos and other DT's) so 2+ armour can eat dark light once the tanks are down.

Damnit Serling... you beat me!

So far the effectiveness of 10 Wraithblades with Ghost Axes:
Tanked 2 Leman Russ squadrons (including the battle cannons and the triple plasma variant); whilst also getting wailed on by everything imaginable in a Fortress of Redemption. Only to get into CC with the tanks and open them up.
2000 points worth of Necrons with Forgeworld additions. Got into CC with a court of Lords and opened them up.
Killed a GUO.
Killed Angrath the Gargantuan Bloodthirster in an Apoc game (with the help of Iranna the Spirit Seer).
Ate a Hammerhead, pathfinders and scored after 3 turns of walking towards a 2000 point Tau gunline and overwatch!
And counting............

Well Serling, I was actually at 1008, so it just buys me the Night shield for the Wracks. Even so, I like the logic behind the Venom Blades, so that's the new plan. I could also swap out one of the wyches--which would cost me a shardnet too--to give the raider and the Venom Night Shields in addition to giving space for the Haemy to run around with them, which'd give them FNP.

Shattershard vs Liquifier, assuming you covered 6 models on both.

Shattershard
v GEQ - 3 removed
v MEQ - 2 removed
v TEQ - 2 removed

Liquifier
v GEQ - 4 wounds - 2.67 unsaved (83% chance to deny save)
v MEQ - 3 wounds - 1 unsaved (50% chance)
v TEQ - 3 wounds - 0.5 unsaved (33% chance)

Most armies out there are MEQ and single wound, so liquifier is actually not that much worse than shattershard. Against multiwound unit, it's a bit situational, if they have high toughness, they'd only fail on a 6, and you likely won't be forcing a lot of dice, but if they're low toughness, shard'll be better than liquifier. But most importantly, haemy isn't that tough, and your warlord(high priority target), so you might not even get to fire both those weapons anyway, might be best to drop shattershard so to limit your loss, provided that you have somewhere better to use those points(ie PGL on wyches).

OK, so here's the new updated plan. Haemy just takes liquifier and will roll with the wyches. They will have 9 wyches in the squad, with 1 shardnet to neutralize/soften upgraded folks. The Hexatrix will be taking Venom Blades and a Phantasm Grenade Launcher. This buys me nightshields on all vehicles.

Dr. Serling seems to cover it best, but here are some additional thoughts:
The 5 man raider squad doesn't really need the night shield. It would be better on the 10 man squad w/ splinter racks (much bigger target).
Same 5 man squad is much better with a blaster added in and the raider swapped for a venom.
Wyches (in my experience) are generally one-hit-wonders. They either kill a vehicle (two if lucky), or they kinda tie down a squad for a while (still weak). Close combat wyches are a bit of a lost cause in my book. I'd drop the hekatrix, grenade launchers, and venom blade and use all those points to buff up/get something else. Wracks with a haemy backup is a good place to start. With 2 poisoned weapons, FNP & Furious charge to start, they're better in HTH than your wyches, plus they ride around with two liquifiers until getting popped.

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm gonna start play testing this list and I'll get back to you on its merits and failings (or potentially my own tactical merits and failings.)

Here's my new 1500 point list that I just posted. I'd love to hear what you think of this one too.
