Does anybody else get infuriated when they try to view the weeks best models only to be given a whole load of models with no votes?

Its a little upsetting, any suggestions.

But otherwise its fantastic

The issue is if the first vote on an image gives it 10's then that image instantly becomes best rated. Its hard to get a fair assessment before you hit 5 votes. People may also vote their own image upto 10 to start just to get things rolling.

Ye, my thoughts exactly. I'd love to be able to say, with more then N results. Or at least default at least 5.

I wonder if we can move the thread? Seems a shame to start a new one.

It's been mentioned in the past. Lego's opinion last time around was that this encourages people to downvote those images to balance out over-zealous own-votes...

If people start to notice that their own images get worse votes when they automatically give them a 10 themselves, they might stop doing it

argh man, that kind of sucks. I get the idea behind the voting on your own. But the simple answer is, why not disable this feature? Its pointless anyway imo!!

It is a touch annoying but it is also the best way of dealing with things. I am going to add a minimum number of votes requirement as well at some point to cut down on the worst offenders though.

Well I like the voting on your own pictures. How else are people going to see your models?

That said, I don't vote 10/10 all round, but I give an honest opinion.

Lego, would it be possible to add a sub-link on the gallery that brings up all the New images?
