I have had 2 jerseys in my life, I have. 15+ year old Stevens one, last year I picked up a Kovalchuk jersey as he was one of my favorite players and I didn't want a Brodeur or Elias jersey like everyone else. Now he's broken his contract and gone back to Russia. He's cost the team (due to money) Parise, Clarkson and a first round draft pick. The team is still being fined for going over the salary cap to hire Kovalchuk. I am not going to wear this jersey as he is probably the most hated player in NJ right now. So what the hell do I do with an almost $200 jersey I have worn 3 times?
It disgusts me to look at it and it eats me up inside that I didn't just get a plain one. Apparently the name, number and A plates can be removed but will leave glue residue all over the jersey, so any other name / number will not cover it.
Anyone else ever had issues like this?

Just tried using an iron to get the names and decals off. Got them off, but the jersey is all covered in tar like glue. It's keeping the trash company now.
