"It is the great irony of the Legiones Astartes: engineered to kill to achieve a victory of peace that they can then be no part of." - Roboute Guilliman
"As I recall, your face was tortured. Imagine that - the Master of the Wolves, his ferocity twisted into grief. And yet you still carried out your duty. You always did what was asked of you. So loyal. So tenacious. Truly you were the attack dog of the Emperor. You took no pleasure in what you did. I knew that then, and I know it now. But all things change, my brother. I'm not the same as I was, and you're... well, let us not mention where you are now." - Magnus the Red, to a statue of Leman Russ

Very cool! I did some similar conversions from SM scouts for carapace! I like your psyker battle squad as well, and those shotguns for the kasrkin looking vets are sweet! I also use lotr movement trays for my display board!
Great looking army

Great looking force mate, I was keen to see the Ogryn up close. Somehow I'd never thought of using Ogres as a conversion for them.
I can't watch the batrep as I'm working but it looks to me like this army would be quite competitive on the tabletop as well.
There was a post going on about green rims on bases recently and how it's kind of old school. I only started the hobby post green base era so the seem kind of rare to me. It does give the whole army a kind of 'old school' feel to it though.

A+
Yeah, I tend to call it the old school eavy metal look. There was a time where most white dwarf batreps were done on the green matt so it became almost a standard for a while.
I love everything about this army! The Ogryn conversions are super cool. I'd always wanted to do some for my buddy's IG army but never got around to it. I also love the old school green bases. I've been reading back issues of White Dwarf recently, from the old 3rd Edition days, and it's so great to see a modern IG army that's got that retro vibe to it. Great job!

How many lawyers does it take to change a light bulb?
-- Fifty-Four -- Eight to argue, one to get a continuance, one to object, one to demur, two to research precedents, one to dictate a letter, one to stipulate, five to turn in their time cards, one to depose, one to write interrogatories, two to settle, one to order a secretary to change the bulb, and twenty eight to bill for professional services.
Your Goblin Green base rims are an inspiration, and I mean that with nothing but utter sincerity. It gives your army more character, which is frankly in no short supply. I really dig the elite units, like the Ogryn and flamer team in Scout armor. I've seen these guys in a bunch of battle reports and it's great to see them all laid out!
