I just wanted to share the latest great idea that GW (makers of the "best models in the world") have come up with.

I have just bought the Firestorm Redoubt and the Vengeance Weapon Battery. They're not packaged on the sprue.
All the components are removed from the sprues (in order to be able to put them into as small a box as possible, I presume).

"This is great news"!! I save some time clipping the various components off of the sprue.

BUT the morons are not using clippers. They are simply twisting, pulling and tearing the components off of the sprue!!

My two $50 and $65 models have holes that need filling all over them.

Call their customer service and complain. Odds are you will get a new set to replace them.

Never heard of such event, all I saw were clear cuts.
Maybe the cutting machine screwed up?

Complaining might really get you a brand new box, try it.

Yeah, any other company would call up the packer for that particular kit for a disciplinary review.

Only seen the sprewless items in the Fantasy Towers and they have been flawless. Give em a call and get another.
