So I am working on my color scheme for my tau and have one of my riptides almost finished, I am looking for some pointers on maybe adding an additional color as I feel more is needed I am just not sure what to do. I am by no means a great painter but I like to have everything painted to table quality. So please take a look and give me any feedbak you can.

The riptide is an example of the color scheme. They pretty much are all black and the teal color. I am using the racing stripes in pretty much everything as well. Idea is a Tau race team (silly I know)
Any feedback on the actual painting so far or the scheme? Does it look okay?
Its mostly ok but it seems uneven, one more thinned down coat for the blue should even it out a bit. also you should finish painting around the edges such as the front of the gun and some of the side panels.
I really like the scheme. Seconding on orange/red lenses and targetting arrays. You could also maybe colour up the sept marking on the chest with red/white?
Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
