I recently bought a collection of old metal models (woot metal =D ) inside where 2 LC Termie models. as the bodies are small I cant really adapt them to my plastic sized new termie bits. I plan on painting them for the sake of loving old models. so questions

A) what army benefits from LC termies? I have small to large factions of pretty much every Marine Codex including Chaos. So dex doesn't mater to me.
B) is it possible to use new bits from power armor to make those old metal small termies have different weapons load outs??

Chaos can do fairly well with single claw single combi plasma. You would have to fashion some combi plas and if you have 2 double claw termies then you would have 4 total single claws, might be a bit much.

My preferred assault terminator mix for C:SM is 3 TH/SS, 2 2xLCs, lead by a chaplain, in a LR. Sometimes having the hits at initiative value is nice.

And as my terminators are all old, small metal ones, this is unlikely to change.

good idea just I have no idea where I can get more of the old style bodies

They could just be space marines that are slightly shorter and less well muscled, not all of them are going to be perfect body clones of one another. I also love those older models too though.

As far as armies the benefit from LC Terminators I would say either BA, Khan or Shrike lists. Furious Charge will help them with dealing more wounds and Terminators with Khan can be fun with Outflanking in a Land Raider. Shrike for if you want to infiltrate them.

IMO if you go with LCs you will want to go with all LCs and use them to hunt MEQ or lower, if you throw in a TH/SS I would put it on your Sgt for challenges.

Don't forget BT's: with rage and furious charge those claw termites will deliver 5 S5 attacks each, reroll to wound.

That's a good one. With the rumors of an up coming codex release that may be one to watch out for, who knows how much they will change.
