Happy to share with you guys.

I took a bunch of high-res pics of my diorama to memorialize it before I tear it down. I am not much of a photographer but the pics do a serviceable job of showing the diorama.

Let's see if this album link works:

Your whole setup, really...

I'm always trying to find good trees for terrain - where did you get yours?

Thanks. Trees are from woodland scenic.

Absolutely stunning, everything is so insanely detailed. Even the camping beds are beautiful.

I'm curious, do these all stay out in their respective "homes", or do you have to store them away and cycle what you have out?

Not sure I fully understand. I do have the capability of storing all the stuff on the table in my cabinetry, which, as you can see, is built into my gameroom walls.

Thats just incredible! Its a setup anyone would be proud to have. And I must ask, what ship models did you use for those ships at the docks? I'd want to pick some up for my own table, they are perfect.

The ships are commissioned special. They are made from wood and are built from scratch by a very talented miniature ship builder named Jeff Wefel.

Just looking back over these. The woven cloth effect on the clergymans robes is insane work as are the folds in the blankets and covers of the little out door bed camps.
Kudos.

Yes, that mini is one of my favorites. I am glad you noticed the detail.

Mike at Terranscapes outdid himself on the ocean boards. I had to wait 2 years for them but they were worth it.

Incredible stuff. I wish I could game on something like that. It's like a dream of mine since the old P&P days of AD&D.

When you tear it down do you store it in sections ? In other words is it modular ? Reusable ?

With the money he seems to be making he probably has the whole thing built in a clean room. with scrubs and a hi powered air filtration system

That's no diorama. Its a gaming table.

Its modular and he said it all packs away somewhere. Probably has a team of oompa loompas to do the packing.

The diorama has dust on it. I just am okay with it. I sometimes have to clear it from the water tiles/rivers, but it does not bother me much. If I left it out for multiple years, the dust might reach unacceptable levels, and I will certainly attempt to clean it then.

Yes, I am a collector of miniature art who enjoys putting together dioramas and interesting, dynamic miniature scenes. That is my hobby, and I really enjoy it. And I can help encourage artists by commissioning them to paint for me. I only select the very best artists to paint for me as I am quite discerning. Both Bohun and Sebastian are my favorite, but I am also exploring others who are very, very talented as well (e.g., Alexi-Z, Ana, JBT, Lukasz Grzyb, Robert Carlsson, Michal Pisarski, Nakatan, etc.). I should note that, aside from artistic ability, I also value professionalism, consistent delivery of high quality paint jobs, and meeting of internal deadlines without sacrificing quality. An artist can be very, very good, but if they take forever to complete my models and miss repeated deadlines, I find myself less enthused about using them again in the future.

On that note - here are some barbarians painted by Lukasz Grzyb of FantasyGames

Are the models from the post above Mierce, Blood Rage, or something else? They look awesome, the front one reminds me of a Red Box Games model, but I think it's just very similar!

Have you considered giving Mierce and others permission to use your model pics as their studio / web photos? I am sure they would really appreciate it, and it would give them even more exposure . Most companies are also very willing to credit in this case, too.

The top two are the same model from Avatars of War - the Barbarian Chief kit.

Alternate head and weapon included, I think!

I don't know where the barbarian model is from though!
