Personally as much as I am not a fan, I think it will just be a squiggoth. Im sure it will be slow, unimpressive, have a small ork carrying capacity, and not be a reason to expand my ork collection anymore. I am hopeing for some giant painboy/mekboy colabaration Frankenstein type ork who just runs across the battlefield and krumps stuff like a carnifex. And I am dreading they go reallllyy lame and just say "lol its a giant squig, now go buy the giant fantasy squig we made nobody is buying and use it!"

warhammer 40k mmo. If I can drive an ork trukk into the back of a space marine dread and explode in a fireball of epic, I can die happy!

Probably an Orky minijaegar to fit in with the theme of "shh, not a walker." That the DK started.

GW doesn't cannibalize FW kits and FW already sells huge Squiggoths.

Probably a mutated Ork or something.
It really falls in line with their techno-experimenting fluff; what stops them from experimenting with a captured gene-seed?

FW was making the contemptor before the holy baby carrier made it's appearance.

Honestly, I'm starting to doubt they'll get one. Orks already have lots of vehicles, including two types of walkers, in plastic and above that you have the Stompa then FW stuff. Giant dreadnoughts are already covered by FW as well.

I could see Deff Dreads being made into MCs, perhaps...CSM lost their Dreadnoughts for a MC equivalent, after all. I wouldn't actually like to see a MC-sized Ork. I think when Orks start getting, say, taller than a Kan it looks goofy. Up to about that limit, though, you can convert a pretty imposing model.

Something I expect is that Meganobz will get the Crisis Suit treatment and end up as multi-part plastics, 3 to a box.

I'd like Ghaz's model size to match his fluff, he's six meters tall, which lets him see eye to eye with a carnifex and tower over a dreadnought.

I don't know if they'll add any more walkers to Orks. With their current Dreads, Kans, and FW stuff, I think they have machinery stomping around covered. I could see a squiggoth being done. Especially with Ogre Kingdoms larger kits. However, we are talking about Orks. It will most likely be something silly or perplexing the imagine.

Perhaps a MC Gretchin. . . I shall call him Grotzilla. . . maybe fluffwise he was a regular sized Gretchin until a Mekboy decided to try out his newest invention. Kind of like Honey, I Blew Up the Kid. . .

If going the Gretchin route, a big walker for them could work, perhaps?

Essentially it would be a well-armoured dreadnought or MC geared around shooting and able to mount a lot of ranged weapons with opportunities for twin-linking. Of course the challenge would be in putting it in the same book as Kans and making the two of them different enough to stand on their own merits (not to mention stopping it from simply turning into a Dakkajet on legs).

They do...

Maybe it'll be the first time GW would do that...

I may be mistaken, as it's not on Forgeworld currently, but wasn't the Trygon model first a Forgeworld model? It was later added to the Tyranid codex and is now a plastic kit. Like I said, I may be wrong. This was some time ago.

I'm not like the "MC and Flyer ins every codex" thing GW is doing, but if we had to get a MC it'd definitely prefer a Squigoth over another not-walker or something really dumb like a franken-ork.

That is true. It used to be an Apoc unit.

A Squiggoth is the most likely option if you ask me. While GW doesn't redo Forgeworld models anymore (Tau Piranha, IG Valkyrie, etc) the previous resin to plastic conversions were pretty much straight up copies of the original design. The Forgeworld Squiggoth is a decidedly older model, so I'd imagine they'd sculpt something new from scratch and mount it with different houdas/weapons up top. This is just me speculating though. Even if GW made a big walker for Orks, it would basically just be the Mega-Dredd from Forgeworld as well.

Rumor has it that GW and another company are teaming up in designs to produce the next big thing. Its kit is intended to be able switch between two models without removing parts - there's even WIP pictures displaying it;

I believe the company was Hasbro? Something like that.

You just said my ork warboss looks goofy

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

After they pretty much ruined FW profits with making the Baneblade and Stompa kits, GW officially declared that no more FW products would be turned into GW platic kits. Someone on this forum probably still has a link to this.

So naming all those models which were produced in the times before GW provided all models within months (rather than decades) of a codex release, is probably useless.

However, GW did release the bommers which pretty much were better versions, in looks and rules, of all the FW fliers.

For this reason, I believe that a squiggoth is most likely to become our monstrous creature, simply because it has already appeared in all kinds of PC games and books.
I also wouldn't completely write of another walker, but it might be more of a sidegrade (similar to CSM dinosaurs) rather than a bigger version of the deff dread. Maybe a big mek dread or similar.

While I totally love the idea of a huge franken-ork, we've already got Ghaz as towering abomination and Grotznik as mad berserking monster.

A friend came up the idea of an "Avatar of the Waaagh!". Basically an ork boy who +1 to all his stats for every 10 orks on the table. Green tide? Say hello to my little friend.

Something I'd totally love would be implementing rokks into the game. Somewhere between a monolith and a drop pod, a rokk smashes into the battlefield, kills whatever it lands on and remains as a stationary dakka fortress. Due to the size of rokks, it could also be a "monstrous" vehicle.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

I think an MC Squiggoth would be excellent. There is potential there for a great model with some kit options.

GW teaming up? And hence sharing profit? Hmmm....

I think a Squiggoth is most likely, purely because nothing else has been seen like it from GW (yes, there is a FW model, but the majority of GW's retail targets probably don't know about FW), it's also clearly a MC, which is the way these things are going. If it's not, I guess it'd be like an Ork Dreadknight, so just think Looted Dreadknight with gubbinz and stuff on the back.

I'm just hoping it's not going to be £70+

I think this huge muscly jaguar kind of Ork MC would be awesome...
And with the option for an ork to ride it into battle with a few ranged weapon options.

Similar to the Tau Empires Krootox (with rider) just 3 or 4 times as big...
