Subject: Wreck-Age/Hyacinth Games Releases: STITCHERS and DRIFTERS out now!
Hyacinth Games has just released the Drifter Faction Box for the game Wreck-Age.
Wreck-Age is a post-apocalyptic 28mm skirmish game and RPG. The game features four major Factions: Stakers, Drifters, Stitchmen, and Reclaimers. The Stakers came out in the spring of 2013 along with our Quick Start Rules.
Drifters are rampaging nomadic barbarians. They are a warrior culture descended down from the gangs that proliferated within the massive prison population around the world during pre-collapse Earth. They are cunning savages that swarm their prey and drag them down in martial combat.
The full rule book will be out this Autumn. Get in touch if you are buying some models and would like to be involved in play testing. info@wreck-age.net If you are interested in carrying Wreck-Age products in your store or joining our Pioneers program to demo the game out in the Wilds upon release contact Matt: matt@wreck-age.net

Subject: Wreck-Age/Hyacinth Games Releases: DRIFTERS out now!
Nick here once again. This update is coming a little later in the week than usual but it should be worth the wait. Presenting the Stitcher Box Set!
The Stitchers are horrifying and self-serving individuals. They originated from the doctors and medical staff whose ship crashed back to Earth during the Exodus. The struggle for survival through the Big Push and the Dark Times twisted their worldview. As humanity preyed upon itself their intimate understanding of the human body gave them an edge. Those who were willing to embrace the darkness and forsake their Hippocratic Oath used that edge to both hunt and heal strictly for their own survival. Tranquilizers and narcotics were the preferred methods of hunting so they could drag their victims back to their makeshift med camps. When they sustained injuries they could repair themselves and when their blood got tainted by poisons and disease that blood could be transfused. As time went on and their bodies deteriorated they found their own failing organs could then be replaced with those of the young and spry. This has kept them at the top of the predatory chain, spawning tales of terror wherever they may roam or settle, as the unsuspecting are carried off into the night. Despite their technical knowledge of the human anatomy, the one thing they still cannot replace is the human brain. Centuries of psychological trauma and physical degeneration have taken their toll on many of the Stitchers. The Doctors and Administrators reign under the influence of dementia, psychosis, and an intermittent supply of corrective medications. The Stitchers are medical scientists driven to a nightmarish extreme, hunting those they once healed, and harvesting their organs to promote their own longevity.
This box contains five unpainted 28mm Stitcher models including one Administrator with Shock Staff, one Administrator with Jaws of Life, one Hunter with Narco Gun, and two Hunters with Tranq Rifles. It also contains five blank 25mm bases and complete stat cards so that they can be played right out of the box with our Quick Start Rules.
Stitcher Box Sets will ship to backers the week after GenCon.
Sadly, I have no time to give the play-by-play of the last week. We are hurriedly readying ourselves for GenCon next week. If you are going to be in attendance look for our booth to get a demo and chat us up and stop by The War Store booth to pick up some of our models.
As always, thank you for your patience and support, and hopefully we’ll get to meet some of you next week!

Thanks for the feedback. I started doing the videos because I'm a fan of them as teaser and preview options myself. I always thought they were fun. Not everyone is a fan though so that doesn't mean I wouldn't gladly post up the stills for you, so here you go!

Thanks Nick, much appreciated. Figures look awesome.
The Reclaimers are currently in the hands of a local sculptor. We sat down for an hour, pinpointed the issues with the sculpts, and discussed courses of action. It all went really well. So now its a matter of time. Fingers crossed we'll make our current deadline and have them out in October as planned.

I met said sculptor at GenCon and it appears has placed the Reclaimers in very capable hands. I am looking forward to some new sculpts (monster type stuff!) he will be adding to the line sometime soon.
We are going to be taking the final round of comments this week for the rules, so if you are interested in joining up for that please email anton@wreck-age.net and weigh in on the project. It will be greatly appreciated of course!

For an October release, when do you expect to have the Reclaimers back in-hand (to send out for casting)?
I'd love to see pics then, or even have a chance to pre-order some, etc

I'm surprised there's not more post-apoc games out there. Dark Age is good-ish, though the company's prone to a bit of instability. Not much else out there, really, and its such a good genre that would lend itself to a mini's game pretty well.
Thank you so much for the kind words everyone, it certainly goes a long way to keep us motivated! I will hopefully be dropping the Reclaimer greens into this thread fairly soon...

Meeting with the guy who did the conversions next week! Really looking forward to Reclaimers. I think their brand of 'will this explode us or them?' mayhem will be the most fun for me to play, especially since the dice never go my way anyhow.
Reclaimers don't seem to be out yet. IIRC, Stichers got held up for a bit after they were done in order for the box art models to get painted. Going out on a limb, but wondering if the same thing is happening with the Reclaimers.

I like the look of these figs so far. The Stitchers look quite menacing.
Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?
