I'm looking at p111 in the rule book.
It says;

That says that the warlord is selected at the army creation stage.
In a Tournament, are you allowed to change your army list between games?

Not in any Tournament I've ever played in.

Based on this, I say no.
You pick one Warlord and stick to it.

Someone finally answers the OP on page 2 of comments. Changing your Warlord mid tournament is the same as changing wargear. It happens at list creation.

Hmm, never knew that.
I thought you picked the Warlord at the start of the game.

In that case I will change my vote and say: No, you cannot switch the warlord since tournaments usually don't allow you to change the list.
