It's from the Horus Heresy book "Fear to Tread", but there was an incident that could have really affected things between the two legions, had it gotten out.

Considering how much the Wolves try and protect the little guy I think they would get along well with the Raven Guard and Salamanders.

Two most likely Chapters on good terms with them.

All 3 have some form of "mutation" and none bugs the others about it.

Space Wolves only "protect the little guy" if they have impressed them with their bravery in battle. Beyond that, they are "puny mortals".

Space Wolves respect a fighter... everyone else, not so much. Salamanders try to protect everyone regardless so they could get along but they may differ when it comes to certain courses of action...
