I'm working on starting a Dark Angels and Grey Knights army focused around Psykers and really terminator heavy choices with some heavy presence. It adds up to 2,148 pts.

Army - Dark Angels with Grey Knights

Dark angels -

HQ and accompanying units -
Ezekiel (+145) with five Deathwing terminators.
- 3 termies with typical kit.
- Term. sgt. with typical kit,
- 1 term with Cyclone missile launcher (+245)

Embarked in Land Raider Crusader with multi-melta (+260)

Troops -
7 man Dark Angel tactical squad (+148)
1 flamer
Veteran sergeant with with melta bombs, plasma talon, and Corvus Hammer

embarked in drop pod

Fast Attack
Ravenwing Dark Talon (x1) (+160)

Grey Knights -

HQ and accompanying units -

Lord Kaldor Draigo (+275)
with 10 Paladins (+750)
Apothecary
4 Psycannon
9 Nemesis Force Halberds
1 Brotherhood Banner
Psybolt Ammo.


Embarked in Stormraven Gunship with typhoon missile launcher, and twin-linked plasma cannon, teleport homer, and psybolt ammo. (+265)

Thoughts?

Well, you must combat squad the Paladins if you want to mount them in a Stormraven. However, I think that Paladins are wasted if you transport them in a flyer. They should march through the center and bring their guns to bear from the first turn on.

I hope for you your opponent does not have anything against flyers because if your stormraven is shot down.... you loose half your army.

I wasn't sure if terminators counted as taking up two spaces each in the storm raven like jump packs do. Thanks for the info. I think I'll most probably change my roster to include the tac. squad in the storm raven and get rid of that drop pod. With the ability to move and still disembark by emergency disembark rules should something go wrong, I feel sort of safe putting the least valued members of my army in the transport.

They can't enter it also you can't give a plasma talon and Corvus hammer on a tac squad.
Why psybolt ammo with nothing to pump up on str w/ the stormraven

Also you only have one troop choice in your main force bot really sure what your plan in an obj game is

Well that's depressing. I just read the rule. I think I'll just split the paladins into 5-man groups. The veteran sergeant has a choice of equipment from both melee and ranged sections of the dark angels codex, it says that explicitly in the section. With Lord Draigo you can take paladins as a troop choice, giving me two troop choices. I missed the psybolt ammo while editing this list, my bad. All-in-all this army list is still in its beginning stages, and I'm working on learning sixth edition rules and the army rules for both Dark Angels and Grey Knights.

Yes a corvus hammer and a plasma talon is only equipped on the RWBK, making it to where you can only have it if you buy RWBK,

Also you have to take 2 troop choices from your primary detachment and 1 in your ally detachment.

These are the amended choices. Thanks for the help guys, it's much appreciated. I brought the army up to 2,500, but I can whittle it down and change things based on games.
