Planning on starting a raven guard army, since I am likeing the fluff. Rumors aside about stealth or not, centurions will be at least added, and I want to field as many non tank bodies as I can. I was thinking of running something along these lines.
Shrike
10x assault squad, seargent with claws (for fluff, even though I would rather use thunder hammers.)
10x assault squad, seargent with claws
10x assault squad, seargent with claws
3x centurions, twin linked lascannon, missle launcher
3x centurions, twin linked lascannon, missle launcher
3x centurions, twin linked lascannon, missle launcher.
probably 2 5x scout squad with sniper riffles. If they do get stealth, should have a good cover save.
As many tacticals as I have points left over for. I have no idea how many points I am sitting at right now, but this is probably around 1500 with the scouts and some tacticals.
in a 2k game I would take probably a chapter master with a jetpack, halo, homing beacon, and lightning claws, and 5 terminators with thunder hammers to port in.
Assuming that the centurions run around about 630 points for that many, I think I still have the points to field everything else in 1500.
What do you think?

I think you mean Ravenguard...in any case, I'd wait until September 7th when people can actually give you meaningful C&C.

The following is speculation based off current rumors.
<rant>
If the rumors are true, I can't see any reason to ever take centurions. According to rumors, they're just f***ing awful. Chaos mutilators are better than the CC centurions for cheaper and mutilators are garbage. The heavy centurions are meh seeing as how devastator marines are still in the dex and I can take good weapons for far less points. There's a good chance those upgrades put the cost of centurions over 80/model or more, and I'd be willing to bet 85 (15 for LC 10 for ML guessing). Even at 5 for each upgrade, they are bad compared to oblits who can use any weapon and have an invul. A couple more points and oblits get T5 too, so same statline.
I'm ok with them being bad because the models are the worst GW has made in a long time.
</end rant>
Not only are claws fuffy, but they'd be better choices than a hammer. I1 on a sgt will get him killing in a challenge.

2 wounds, 2+ str 5 T 5 twin linked lascannons walking up the field. How many bodies do you have to add to a dev squad with 4 lascannons to make them worth it? 5 extra? that's 75 more points right there. One helldrake baleflamer takes out a squad. Not these guys. Now add that you can pay points to give them ALLLL split fire. have 3 squads of 3 man centurions with 3 twin linked las cannons and your enemy has say 2 helldrakes and a land raider? Have each squad split fire until the threat is down, no wasted shots if your first las cannon gets lucky and takes out the vehicle.
Also grav cannons, str 8, range 36, with a grav enhancer. Reroll failed to wound or armor pen. Rumor is a glance on a flyer causes it to crash to the ground. Yes please.

The new centurions don't seem very Raven Guard to me. Last rumor I checked, they were slow and purposeful, Which completely goes against the strike hard and fade away combat style favored by the Ravens. I would look elsewhere for your long range firepower.
And as others have said, it's a bit early to be tweaking lists using the new stuff.

I disagree.
The ONLY arguments that could be made for even remotely stealthy heavy support is A: devastators who know how to sneak into position, and B: centurions. They can benefit from the same quiet servos, though not as well, as regular power armor. Unless you want to tell me all those lists where shrike infiltrates terminators are bull, because that's like every list ever. And in this edition you NEED some heavy support, if for nothing else than to deal with flyers like helldrake spam. And at least the cents don't get barbequed on the first turn the helldrakes scream onto the board. 3 tooled up centuirions with twin las and missles are going to be around the same points as 10 devastators for ablative wounds with 4 lascannons, With twin link they hit about the same, but can also split fire, and can move and fire at full efficiency, devastators cannot. That sounds PERFECT for a hit and run stealthy army. Automatically Appended Next Post: List as I am looking at it now will probably be something along the lines of
Shrike
Another leader with jump pack and T. hammer if I have points left over in 1500
10x assault marines, T. hammer, krak grenades
10x assault marines, T. hammer, krak grenades
10x assault marines, T. hammer, krak grenades
5x scout snipers ( 6 squads of them!)
3x centurions, twin las, missile, split fire.
3x centurions, twin las, missile, split fire.
3x centurions, twin las, missile, split fire.
The scouts are there to counter things like riptides, wraithknights and lords, and the new tyranid lists coming out that im sure ill kiss my sniper riffles every time I fight. Not to mention if the flyrants or harpys crash to the ground, that's sexy right there. Example of all 6 squads shooting a riptide
30 shots 20 hits, 10 wounds. 10 saves is no joke on a single model. That's 2 or 3 wounds unsaved. MABYE recover 1 if he has fnp. And that was the worst target out of what I chose to shoot at. And lets face it, its pretty fluffy for raven guard.
Those results don't even take into account rending. Automatically Appended Next Post: Or pinning
Automatically Appended Next Post: Does anyone know if scout sniper rifles and arms will fit on marine torsos. Was gonna go with tactical marine body and legs, beakie helmets, a greenstuffed up backpack like regular scouts, and cadian shoulders to give them the not huge but still big shoulders.

The current rules allow infiltrating terminators, but I always viewed that as mechanics overriding fluff.
And if you want a HS pick to deal with flyers, take some stormravens rigged as pure gunboats.
Don't forget that scouts are BS3, except the sarge, who keeps his BS of 4. So your numbers are a little off.
6x5 man squads:
4/6 sergeants hit, 12/24 troops hit, 16 hits total. 8 wounds, with ~3 being rends. That should kill most things. But that assumes you can bring them all to bear on the same target, and represents at least 450 points of your army.

looks a pretty solid list, with a good firebase and hard-hitting assault force. As for PA snipers, I don't think the scout arms will fit, but I know for a fact that Anvil Industry sniper rifles do:
