No, I havn't tried any of those. I do make my own "tints" though, it is not uncommon for me to be spraying 90% thinner to 10% paint. The more thinner the better usually, it helps control the speckle airbrushed look that you see sometimes.

It could partly be the picture. It is vibrant though.

I airbrushed tamiya clear red. I then darkened the window framing with black ink.
