I was thinking the same thing .. I guess they were going more for dramatic effect. I think both sides prolly would have run out of ammo in like 10 seconds too...

You don't miss much at that range with an AA-12.

Seriously. It's an automatic shotgun.

Regardless, three episodes left. My heart can't handle it.

Well, I was holding out for a happy ending and a Walter White redemption of sorts, but that looks like it was buried with Hank and Gomez.

I did like how the knife that Skyler used on Walt was framed earlier in the episode with what seemed to be Walts first lie to Skyler about cooking. And Walts rant at Skyler that seemed like a mad mans tirade was actually clearing her of all blame in it. Well played.

I have a feeling Walt is gonna get wind about Jesse being forced to cook, and go rescue him. I think I remember last season he had some old car and looked different, and he bought some massive military style machine gun of some sort.. and I never saw the gun again. I assumed that was a flash-forward scene.

So, maybe he'll use that to gun down the bad guys and set Jesse free in the explosive series finale?

I figured that's why he was going to get the ricin in the opening scene of the first episode.

Give him a way out that won't have Pinkman on the loose again, especially after Heisenberg told him the truth about his girlfriend's death.

Drink deeply and lustily from the foamy draught of evil.

Good episode, one of the best ones since the summer started.

Basically Pinkman becoming a meth slave bothers me a lot, I hate any kind of forced anything. :(

Walt FINALLY dropped the bomb about witnessing Jane's death. Big scene right there.

Looks like Walt has erased himself, the next episode will be wild. It's about to end, people!!

I can't wait for next week.

I feel sort of bad for Hank, I felt like he deserved better then that. But I guess that was his karma.

Yeah. I didn't realize this was the case until my 2nd viewing. It's fething brilliant, really. Also, RJ Mitte really killed it this episode with Flynns reaction to the knife fight. Really well acted.

I was so happy to hear the Jane-bomb get dropped. He saved it for the absolute perfect time and it hit Jesse like a ton of bricks. Such an emotional scene. But the real show stealer for me? When Todd walks up to Walt and says "I'm sorry for your loss" after the Nazis offed Hank and Gomey. Amazing.

Gonna be an exciting last two episodes. Can't wait.

How would you describe someone like Todd? I mean, I'd like to say that he's a sociopath, but he definitely shows empathy (not that it stops him from doing what needs to be done).

I was having this exact convo with my buddy today. He does unspeakable things with like no emotion or consideration, then afterward he shows some remorse and compassion. I mean even in this episode with Pinkman - he is the one who indeed suggested the interrogation and torture, offered to do the asskicking himself, I'm positive he partook in it - then when it comes time to retrieve Pinkman, he does so with utmost gentleness, care and reassurance as he is badly battered, exhausted, and surely frightened.

He's definitely all kinds of fethed up.

Saying Todd is "kind of creey" is like saying Keely Hazell's boobs are "sorta big" or Kate Upton is a "5 or 6." Gross understatements, all of them

I always lean on the fact that I think Todd is a sociopath, but that can't be it because he clearly has emotions and empathy, especially with Walt.

He's a pragmatist in every sense of the word.

Jesse is 2 for 2 in getting his girlfriends killed. Poor Brock.

I really thought the Nazis were going to kill Todd when the video revealed he's a child killer.

Can't wait to see what Walt has in store for next week. Sundays won't be the same :(

Has anyone watched the show Low Winter Sun that plays after Breaking Bad? Thoughts?

It's pretty clear that when White straps up at the beginning of the season, it's meant to be for a huge confrontation with the Nazis and to rescue Pinkman. Gray Matter has obviously pissed him off as well, I wonder what his reaction to that will be.

I didn't like when Saul was cornered by White yet again (leave Saul alone!). Seems like we've seen the last of Saul, he's off to manage a Cinnabon in Nebraska.

I really don't know how crap TV shows get like 7+ seasons yet this stellar phenomenon is ending at 5 seasons. WTF. They still have a lot of story they can work with, they haven't written themselves into a corner at all. One episode is all we get? WAAAHHH!!! :(

Does Walt even know they have Jesse?

Also just be glad this show is ending before you can grow to hate it

Oh Dexter... how did you get so awful? The ending was so bad that it retroactively went and even took all of my joy out of the good early seasons.

They took him, but didn't Walt expect them to kill him by now? I'm convinced Jesse is going to kill Walt. Especially after Walt dropped the Jane bomb.

Never watched Dexter, might start up on Sons of Anarchy to get my tv fix.

Yeah. This episode blew my mind. I literally had nightmares last night about Andreas body slumping and that red mist. That was hard tv to watch.

I think the Ricin is for the folks at grey matter. I can't see who else it would be for. That was an interesting scene for multiple reasons, but I couldn't help but think about how none of this would have happened had Walt simply took their help. Heisenberg was all but dead, too, until they revived him. I think that, coupled with Jrs reaction to the call, officially killed Walter white.

gak is about to get real. And I can't wait to see how it goes down.

It's all Hank's fault for taking him on that bust!

I've been of this opinion since the beginning of the season, and have yet to feel inclined to change it: Walt will ultimately use the ricin on himself.

Interesting, where do you predict he is and what situation will he take it?

With the cancer, he doesn't have very long to live anyway, and the ricin would serve as a quicker way out, after he's tied up loose ends. With that huge gun we saw in the first episode, and Walt's current situation, it's hard to expect much other than a suicide mission for whatever he does next. And if he dies executing whatever plan he's cooking up, then he can't be captured, be it by police or the Neo-Nazis, which means he won't be able to be used to testify against Skyler, or worse.

Additionally, the ricin's been played around as a tool to take out the big bads of the series, but it's never been properly used. Might as well make use of all that build up to take out the biggest bad of all.

Hes not angry at the people at grey matter, think about it.

They were talking about how the blue meth is still out there when they asked about if he (walt) is dead or not. Only two people can cook that, him and Jesse, if its not him, then he knows it must mean Jesse is still alive and being held captive.

Seriously? I thought it was pretty clear that he was infuriated that they claimed his only contribution to Grey Matter was the name.

Yes that made him angry, he clenched his fist and had a menacing look, however after that line, it is straight away followed by "there are still reports across 10 states and overseas of the Heisenberg trademark blue meth being sold, do you think he is still alive" (something like that)

Only at that point did he go full on crazy Im going to kill someone kind of thing.

He wanted the Nazis to kill Jesse, if blue meth is being sold it means Jesse is alive and being held captive, thats what has made him so angry imho.

I'm thinking it's going to go something like this:

"Hi Nazi guys!"

Blam. blam. blam.

"Hi Jesse. You're free now, go do something with your life."

lights up a ricin smoke, calls skylar.

"I love you and my money at this place, go do something with your life."

Kicks the bucket. Jesse weeps openly. Roll credits.

I don't know if Jesse will let the news about Jane go that easily though. There has to be something more that comes from Walt telling him.
