Hello! I have a friend who's taking a haitus from the game, so he gave me a lot of his old stuff he lost interest in, mostly half finished or unpainted. Among these was a small force of necrons, his first army, consisting of 6 destroyers, about 30 warriors, 9 Scarabs, a C'tan Shard, and these two models that I'm completely clueless about.

He also has a bunch of what seem to be old school space marine models, and some things I'm 100 percent clueless about. If I were to post these, should I just do that here, or do you think I should make a new thread? If I were to do something like that I would probably move it to the modeling blog section, but I'm not sure what would be the best forums for that.

Those look like converted Wraiths.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

Look like the old Necron Wraiths that were replaced by the (much better looking imo) Canoptek Wraith kit

They look non-standard - converted wraiths, I would say.

They're the oldcron Wraiths, and incomplete at that.

Gods? There are no gods. Merely existences, obstacles to overcome.

I found a bunch of metal bits in one of the containers, I'm assuming they go to the rest of the wraiths, since most of the other things are complete, or completely different so I can tell what's going on

They are the old metal Necron Wraiths, but converted so that they're coming out of the ground (a pretty decent idea actually because the model's spine attached about halfway and would break constantly). Also, they haven't bothered to glue their arms on.

Not sure why they're still up on the main site, but hey ho. As you can see it's the arms and tail end that are missing.
