I've noticed that both Miniature Market and Warstore went from 25% discounts to 20% discounts.
Whats going on with that, and does anyone know where I can find better in the USA? I would imagine that shipping from the UK would be prohibitively expensive.

I don't know about in the US but Slave to Painting's Au site has roughly 20% off GW stuff (with the exception of finecast apparently) which is good but they also do a ton of sales and special offers. I have a stack of coupons on my desk for a further 20% off if I order over $75 worth of stuff.

Well, the problem with GW's regional sales policy is that you can't ship in your GW stuff from the UK, etc.. .
You're free to order .. say .. Malifaux or Warmachine from a UK e-tailer, but GW's regional "lock-in" usually means that even online stores can only sell within their own country (or, in the case of the EU, only within the EU).

Zweischneid is right in what he says.
If you are in the USA, then you will need to buy from USA (or possibly Canada depending on the GW official areas - Does anyone have confirmation on this?)
Ive found alot of the uk stockists are dropping their discounts too.
Triple Helix are still 20% off, but had an issue last time i ordered, same with total wargamer.
Wayland is now only 15%, with £3+ for postage.
Luckily, locally, we now have a company called Vortex Wargaming. Its 20% off instore, and of course, picking up is free.

GW has "screw Canada" pricing firmly in place, so there's no reason to order from Canada.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better. |

Total wargamer seems to do about 25% off all the stuff they sell.

Some stores such as Frontline gaming have 25% off pre-release specials. There is also the occasional close out sale at 30+% off. You just have to keep a close eye on stores. Miniature market recently had 50% off Malifaux on account of the release of the new edition. Those models went fast.
Older products are always cheaper when you buy them used. This is usually the best option.
If you want one of GWs shiny new models, which do not have old counterparts, and still want to save some cash, then consider using a model made by another company.

They don't sell GW internationaly.
EDIT: Though thanks for showing me the site, I'll probably get the AP ink set [when it comes out] from there.

I noticed that Wayland have given front page to the new Marine stuff - but there are a bunch of blue, featureless boxes instead of artwork/minis etc.
The total wargamer page has a load of stock pics as well, so I'm guessing this is something universal?
Anyone know why? It can't be a terribly effective way of convincing people to buy stuff (or certainly not if you're not already aware of what you want to buy)

You can't post pictures of things that are hush hush releases.
I dare say they get a list of pre-orders for stocking/pricing (and a date at which they can advertise from) but no images to use until the relevant kits are announced ie until WD or whatever.
40TK Gaming have 25% on GW pre orders until tomorrow.
Re total Wargamer, aren't there lots of threads here noting them defaulting on orders and being in-contactable? Careful there chaps.

And how. My cart kept crashing as stuff I'd loaded in became unavailable. The few GW products I've ordered have been from them. 20% off, free shipping over $75.00 and you get 1% back as rewards for a future purchase. Not bad.

KayJays in Melbourne do 20% Australian RRP off factional GW (ie, miniatures and Codices but not paints, etc - paints etc are 10%) for Aussies. Not a full online cart system, so you order though the "contact us" link and he contacts you for payment.

If you're local you can also do pick ups.

We should keep a list of discounters.
Three that I know of in the US are:
FrontlineGaming.org - 20%, flat rate shipping $5.99 (25% off sale at end of September)
Miniaturemarket.com - 20%, free shipping over $100
TheWarStore.com - 20%, flat rate shipping $6.95
If anyone knows of others or with better discount, post here.

I read around about TW before i ordered from them, and decided to give them a shot. First order (Dark Vengeance) took over a month to arrive due to problems with getting the stock or whatever, next order I chanced with them, they gave me free postage and all the other orders i've completed with them have arrived quickly and trouble free.
Would recommend these guys!

Total Wargamer offer 30 %. However, if I pay £30 full price for three GW monsters, that works out at £10 each. If I only pay £21 at TW, I get no monsters and a debt to me of £21 plus a load of hassle recovering it. Other retailers are ok but steer well clear of TW.

I do find it interesting that only a single person inquired about my retailer. No skin off my back I suppose.

I've ordered many times from Total Wargamer with no issues - usually get the item in 2-3 days and with a massive discount.. but the title is for GW discount, which seems to the product that gives them problems for whatever reason.
