In Warmahordes all the models activate individually, so every model in the unit will cast one spell of his choosing.

It should be noted that each model can also do something different, so one model could walk up and smack something with a staff, another could vortex, etc etc

However, if you issue an order, dont all the models in the unit have to follow that order? I mean, you cant have some models in a unit charge, others run, others shieldwall, others shoot correct? Granted, run and charge is the same order.

Correct, if an order is issued then every model in that unit will have to follow that order.

Absolutely. Keep in mind that while each model follows that order, they all 'act on their own.' Therefore, one model could run, another could charge model 'A,' another could charge model 'B,' etc etc.
