What "quality control issues" would they be ?
I have been buying FW for years and apart from some old kits that did not fit very well, most of it has been bang on.
While I haven't had an issue with my last two purchased models, I've had issues with pretty most others before that echoed the issues others raised. I once got a icon kit that looked similar to this (but was GK) where the flash was as thick as the icons. Even if the QA person was legally blind, just holding it showed how bad the mold gap was and it never should have made it into a zip lock bag as acceptable. My Inquisitor Rex also had multiple important issues.

Have to say, if they're selling it as a double kit with Erebus and Kor Phaeron then it's a lamentable no sale for me. I love the Erebus model, but I'm not at all interested in the Kor Phaeron model. I'd even go so far as to call it goofy.

To be fair, he's supposed to be goofy. He's a human that has been enhanced to be as close to an astartes as possible, but still doesn't quite make it.
Edit: Everyone should email forgeworld asking for Space Marine Squad badges in etched brass, I emailed them asking if such a thing was coming down the pipeline, but no such luck atm.

Me too - anything to help make converting librarians and chaplains easier/better!

It is a great sculpt. The harness is awesome, and I think he might have one of my favorite faces that I have seen sculpted. Can't wait for them to get to Corax.
