The army list portion of the battle report in the latest White Dwarf shows:

Crusader Squad Friedrich:

8 initiates with bolters, plasma gun, missile launcher with flakk missiles and Sword Brother with power fist. 187 points.

It's hard to tell from the pics the actual squad layout.

Does it mean: 8 bolter-dudes + plasma gun dude + ML dude + Sword Brother dude = 11-man squad?
Or: 8-man squad with PG upgrade, ML upgrade, and sword brother upgrade?
Or: a 10-man squad with a screwed-up description?

Weird...

This really isn't news, and it certainly isn't shocking...

Its a 9-man squad consisiting of 1 plasmagunner, 1 Missile Launcher, 1 Sword Brother and 6 bolters. What's the problem?

Werent there rumours that BT could have 20 man squads? Or maybe the Sword Brother gets added to the squad and makes it 11 man?

That, or its an 8 man squad (with a PG and ML somehow? Because BT?) and a Sword Brother.

If accurate, the extra 10 men would have to be Neophytes (that is, Scouts). The rumour touted this unit makeup as a 1-per-Initiate ratio, which makes sense.

I really don't see what the problem is. There are 8 Initiates. That's 8 guys. A plasmagun, a weapon not an extra person, and a ML, again, a weapon not a member. Hence, 8 guys. There is also a Sword Brother with X gear, so there is 8 Initiates and 1 Semword Brother so a 9-Man squad.

This is what I am assuming. But then it seems BT can take a heavy and special in a <10 man squad. Which is worth noting.
