How was that kit to put together? It seemed like a major pain in the arse more than anything.

Tonight, I'll probably be cleaning up my hobby hole. I need to get some priorities straight in terms of what I have and what I need to do... Also throw some models into simple green because I think my primer fethed them up (paint is beading up like sweat on a well oiled lifeguard).

The kit went together very easy, but I fethed up the neck. I have it looking too high, and it interferes with the "back armor" that goes on top. Things you learn.

I'm finishing up an Iron Snakes tactical squad, just a little work to go on the bases. The Snakes shoulder insignia's I got from BoLS look ok. Ran out of transfer paper so the tactical arrows will have to wait.

You are still bleeding? If you are trimming plastic models, where in the world is your superglue? If you are *still* bleeding, you had better take care of that business army style

Yesterday I flocked all of the enforcers I had painted already, today I'm flocking my suppression team of them. Will put me at 22 painted and based by the end of tonight.

Sounds like you are making some headway But didn't you say you had 70 or 90 or something before deadzone? Oh well, 22 less than that now

Haha. Too true. I have 2 5-man strike teams done: one with a blast rifle and assault blade, one with a missile launcher and energy gauntlet; one assault squad with a flamer; a suppression squad with 4 missile launchers and 2 Enforcer Captains done. Except the final color on one suppression model and his base.

That's a fair force already of enforcers You will have to loan your opponents Enforcer allies just to use even a modest portion of your eventual super human horde Maybe not though, warpath 3.0 is supposedly going to have 100 models on a side, or what 50 enforcers :p

I'll post pics in the Mantic subsection, Grimdork. Might give you an idea where to cut the arms to put the energy gauntlets on without looking abnormal when your enforcers come in. No greenstuff necessary, they look like the gauntlets are naturally on the model.

And I do hope a game of Warpath lets me field all my enforcers. I might have to lend an opponent all 200 or so of my marauders when that happens (including Deadzone marauders).

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I'm trying to bling out my models a bit, but we get a bit spoiled for choice with the gorgeous DE sprues. I just went for basic assembly, and now I'm going back through to finish them up before painting.

Might drop you a line when i figure out what i actually have

Just finished clear coating my first squad of tactical marines.

Have to take a break from painting 40k to paint more 28mm samurai for Ronin. Need 2 mounted guys and at least 1 foot with katana to give my lists more teeth. Using Perrys and figuring a way for those mounted samurai to look like hatamoto with a minimum on extra bits. Where there's a will there's a way.

The fiend kits seem easy to assemble from what I've heard.

As I mentioned earlier, the kit is easy to assemble, but I modeled the neck too upright and it now interferes with the armor back plate.
