Hey there everybody

I'm currently looking at converting my Sanguinary Guard to have Power Spears mainly because they will look cool.

I'm having difficulty find an after market bits seller with some good ones or a decent decent tutorial for a conversion.

So I've turned to you, my fellow Dakkites you are my only hope

Cheers Pastel

On your planet, burning your men!

I once saw the SM knifes ontop of a rod, that looked pretty cool, ofcourse you can add all sorts of details like a power generator and stuff, its fairly easy i reckon, the hardest part will probably making the hand look good around the shaft!

I saw a guy in White Dwarf some time ago who put a Dark elf spear on a GK warding stave to make his power spear.

Puppetswar do halberds and glaives. Alternatively see if you can pick up some fantasy spears and fit some power generator blocks near the head or near the hand-grips.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I feel like I should note that Sanguinary Guard can't actually take Power Lances, they're limited to Swords and Axes for their Glaives.

Now if you're just doing it for aesthetics, then I guess a Grey Knight Halberd would be a good place to start.

I am purely doing it for the look, I know that Sanguinary Guard are limited to swords and axes but since a glaive is more like a spear, I'm taking artistic license with the name :-P

I'm really not after a Halberd but I do like the idea of of using a fantasy elf spear and putting a power supply on it.

Cheers for the ideas
