I was talking to my buddy today and I brought up what I'd like to see in the new ork Codex. I began to wonder what the rest of you guys might want in your new codex(es). Post anything you'd like to see, fluff or crunch, new units or new rules, improvements or nerfs! Share it all and discuss.

Personally I'd LOVE to see a Warboss with a Rokkit Pack. Maybe as a 10-15 point upgrade, but it just really saddens me that I can't have a half-tonne hunk of angry green flesh hurtling through the air to land on some Beakie's head.
I'd also love to see some of the Forge-World models moved into the codex such as Squiggoth's, Warkoptas (Chinorks), Mekboy Junkas and the like.
A final thing I'd like to see is more options equipment wise. Mostly I'm thinking about Looted wagons only really having a small hand full of options. Nobs/Flash gits are a bit lacking in variety departments as well.

"Just the act of orks looting it defiles it! There are Techpriests rolling over in their graves!" "Yeah! I'm rolling over them in their graves!"
"The usage of shipping containers is much like 40k technology: It's been handed down from tech-priest to tech priest, until none of us really remember how it works and we go through many pointless rituals in the belief that it will keep it alive. " - Dayspring

For Sisters I've got a LOT...but I'd say 10 point Battle Sisters for starters. That points them out the same as Black Templar Neophytes for a slightly different statline (namely trading toughness for armor and swapping ATSKNF for Acts of Faith).

I'd also like to say an expanded Acts of Faith system. Maybe a different point generation mechanic too.

I've got a whole bunch of others but we'll leave it with those two for now.

Orks: Fix their crappy bombers. Preferably just go back to having a single Fighta-Bomma entry with a load of supa shootas and the option to buy various rokkits and bombs for cheap.

Whatever new kits they make for the Tyranids, please don't let them suck.

Also good Anti-air for the Tyranids, either a ground based anti-air unit or something to join Devourer flyrants in the battle for air superiority.

As for Orks, well the flier angle's covered so that means either a broadside style unit or a new monstrous creature/walker, Forgeworld produces Squiggoths so we're unlikely to get a plastic squiggoth kit. And there kind of already is an Ork mega-dread, again from forgeworld, so Mega-mega armor?

Imperial guard. There's probably going to be some new, somewhat silly looking vehicle kit. Whether it'll be a flier, tank, walker, or gun platform I don't know. But if the Imperial Guard in fact got a broadside style multi-wound infantry kit or a monstrous creature I'd be pretty damn shocked.

Seconding the crappy bomber thing - the blitza in particular is a joke.

Am I the only one who really doesn't want to see every army with a Broadside equiv. and a monstrous creature?

For Imperial Guard I'd really like to see regimental traits, similar to the Chapter Tactics system in the new Codex: Space Marines. If there were ones for Mordians, Valhallans, Tallarn, Catachans, etc. that would be awesome. Maybe not make them that specific, but if there was a sharpshooters doctrine or a well-drilled doctrine or a conscript doctrine, those would be very cool. I'd also like to see Vendettas costed appropriately (thinking in the realm of 180) and a general rebalancing to make some units more useful and others less so. Vets could stand to lose a special weapon, Ogryn, Stormtroopers, and Ratlings could use a points reduction and/or rules change to make them a bit more useful.

I'd like the Penitent Engine to be a MC, but then again I also want it to have Rampage, Rage, and have the ability to flame the occupants of any transport of building it gets a penetrating hit on.

But that's only because I want it to be as awesome as its concept.

I disagree. Blood Angels should be more divergent to justify their codex, not shameless armory thieves (that's what Blood Ravens are for). Besides, with the Blood Angels hanging onto their specialized engines so tightly it only stands to serve the Mechanicus would withhold some stuff from them as punishment.

The toys don't concern me as much as the pricing. BA need 6th edition pricing badly.

For the orks, i want that the shoot of the dakka jet become ap3, and can shot 360º, and make that the hole army were build around the dakkajet... oh wait, the chaos already do that, mmm...
Joke apart, and more serius, the ork have a really great potential for psyke abilitis, and i still want to see the fist or foot of mork and gork; besides, the junk nature of their vehicles make a great oportuniti to make a lot of custom tanks and transports, like the fw gama for orks, they have so much potential, just hope that dont apear matt ward and make the nobs to carrie three arms with klaws, rage furius charge and 5 wounds...
note apart, i want a unit of cyborgs with the mad dok jejejeje, and maybe the option to make a grot army only, just my toughts.
PD: i think the chaos codex is good and have really good options to make a colourful army or to make various theme armys, without the necesity to bring a brass chiken to make a fuctional army, i really like the codex, dont misundertanming, just hate the fact that every list tha i have played against have at least two flame chikens...

I'm talking about prices! And a few rules.
You can keep Centurions, those new AA and LotD.

When I look at <insert almost any unit> my BA feel bad.
Honour Guard are superior to Sanguinary Guard.
Vanguard are superior to DC.

Librarians are just crap compared to everything from C:SM. But that's an HQ-problem..
Can you imagine how I felt when I was trying to make an overpowered HQ-Captain and realized he was STILL cheaper than Dante?

BA pricing is horrendous. It's by far the worst codex now. Well, maybe Sisters, but I doubt it.

Well when you compare a Battle Sister to a Tactical Marine for 2 points you trade Acts of Faith for Chapter Tactics, gain ATSKNF, +1WS/S/T and access to a nice wide berth of weapon options. Don't get me wrong, I know Tact Marines are better priced now, but that's too low of a threshold for the differences.

Well I've tabled BA with the WD Dex Sisters, but I've seen someone say they use BA to represent their Sisters so let's call it a tie.

Well, for my orks I'd really like some good, fun and fluffy psyker rules, otherwise everything rumored seems good to me. Like the army wide 6+ feel no pain, big choppas AP3 on the charge and such

I would like to see some new orders for IG. That would be pretty awesome... maybe something to help shoot flyers with... I do not think 180 is reasonable for the Vendetta.... It is at 130 now... so maybe 150 or so would be a good price point, give or take 15 points. I would like to see the elites get reworked in order to make them more viable in competitive play.

In the name of the Emperor I will smite you with my Fu**, GW took that away too!

For Orks, I don't even want anything new. I just want plastic versions of existing things. Particularly, plastic Meganobz, plastic Warbuggies/trakks/skorchas, and plastic Mega Armor Warboss.

Sisters, I want Cannoness to get her jetpack back, PE monstrous creature, Sister drop pods like the ones they used to have in citidel journal way back. Actually do something with the holy trinity of melta, flamer, bolter as something in game and not just fluff and weapon limiters, like a perk for using them. Naming a few I can think of that would be nice.

I have a few key wishes for a new SoB codex.

-Fluff, and lots of it. An in-depth look at the culture and organisation of the SoB, as well some stories about their various campaigns. Also, more fluff on the six main Orders.
- Second troop choice. Zealot mobs would work nicely.
- Make underpowered units useful. Namely, the Canoness, Celestians, Penitent Engines and Repentia. But especially the Canoness
- A flyer would be nice. The Avenger or Lightning. Either works.

Order of the Righteous Armour - 542 points so far.

How much time do i have???

Orks:
mob check back, 4+ choppa back, auto run 6", trucks with more boys inside, old zapp gun back, mega dred in codex (cause silly ears cant have only robot), as stated above squigoth

My BA and IG lists are very small. BA allied with DA for fun and IG is just a little themed army. Changes to them shouldnt effect me.

Reguardless of what Codex is next I really love to see GW put a product out with out an errata or admendments released a few days after. I dropped $50 on the new DA book only to print erratas before I had the book in hand.

In my experiances the Repentia are useful, assuming you can get them into combat.

The Nueral Whip should be a weapon Priests and Confessors can take too, and made so it isn't S8 vs LD because that makes it pretty ineffective against most things.

Yeah having st 8 vs "toughness" 8 to 10 really gets old quick. AP3 doesnt mean much if you can't wound.

I've heard that they're too often a suicide unit (which is appropriate, mind you), and pretty much require their AoF to deal damage. Problematic, considering that the current faith system isn't too great.

But yeah, I should have said "more useful". Most of those units have their uses, they're just not usually good choices in a competetive list.

Could we get someone to redo CSM for sixth? Like someone who actually cares about the army rather then an Eldar Fanboy.

Whats so bad about the Chaos dex, aside from the Helldrake? I like going up against Chaos because the less shooty armies in general are less OP and more enjoyable to play against with my ancient Orks

Well it really wasn't much of an update, sure things got added and some things changed, but it still feels like it wants to play in 4th edition with most of the army, aside from heldrakes which is keeping it afloat.
