Thoughts on the new bundle deal by GW. £7065 with some signed goodies (if anyone could help me out and tell me who is signing these. That would be a great help) + I would like to work the cost out of everything you get to see if GW are even giving you a discount. Because I bought the one click bundle for £293 and if you bought them individually it worked out the same. Thanks for the saving on a bundle.

I hate lance weapons and so does my land raider

Here is a link to my new ebay store miniatures of the millennia. We buy and sell second hand war gaming miniatures mainly warhammer 40k. There is not much listed at the minute as we are waiting on ebay to lift there limits on us and then we have loads to list. Take a look

I don't think they do give you a saving, same as most GW bundles.

To be honest though, if you went into a GW store and said you'd buy it through their order point if they gave you something off the price, I'm sure you would be able to negotiate it down a bit.

Well it would be good for them to knock the price down for you a little, but if you were to order it from one of the other sites they would probs do you 25% off for the amount it is.

I wonder if there is going to be some new tank models in the space marine second wave and this is them trying to get rid of surplus in bigger bulks

Its funny, you can save £1,750 in 1 click by getting it from a retailer
Though, £4,250 still is too much for me to spend in 1 hit, maybe over the course of 6 months to a year.

Jackal is works out at £5298 with the saving. But someone has mentioned you don't get all the signed goodies when ordered through a third party.

Are the signed goodies worth a thousand quid?

Pretty sure that they really aren't....

The Auld Grump, certainly not to me....

Especially when a ticket to Games Day (any Games Day) to get you book signed by whoever you want, is much cheaper.

Signed is a neat way of showing they care that you just spend 7K quid. But I wouldn't "price" it at much.

Games Day is in a week or two. Bring a Codex. Get it signed. Not that big of a deal.

Collectors? Hobbyists?

I wouldn't drop £7k on an entire chapter to get hold of them, because i'm not rich or insane (and I can barely afford plastic crack as it is), but I can see why someone who had the money would consider buying a chapter. No reason you couldn't gradually sell off boxes that you didn't want.

The plural of codex is codexes.

Yeah, but GW's designers aren't exactly like rock stars or anything, no one's really going to care if you got Jervis Johnson's signature...not even other hobbyists, really.
