I've recently started a new force, a Tzeentch Marine army, but with heavy focus on the Daemonic and Sorcerous side of things. I'm also going to be bringing in some Egyptian theming where I can.

I'm not the greatest of painters, but the conversion side of things is an area of great enjoyment, so to that extent pretty much every model will be modified to a greater or lesser extent. The army itself is already well under way and to kick me off I grabbed some shots of some of the bits I've been working on.

Piece: Thousand Son Sorcerer

Components:
- Body is the GW Librarian
- Shoulder Pad is from the Thousand Son bitz back
- Head from Max Mini's Mecha Egyptian range
- Flame from GW's Burning Chariot

Piece: Mauler Fiend

Components:
- GW Arachnarok
- Extra arms from GW Forgefiend / Maulerfiend kit. (note these are spare after building a complete Forgefiend)

Piece: Daemon Prince with Daemonic Flight

Components:
- Meice Miniatures, Vilthiss, Champion of Khthon
- Disk from the Burning Chariot set from GW

Nice, I really like the spidery thing - what sort of paintscheme are you going with - traditional TS blue and gold?

I'm not much of a TS fan, but that Sorcerer dude is really really neat.

Incredibly slowly updating Horus Heresy P&M blog kind of sort of.

I'm mainly going to for gold on the armour, especially with characters. The spider i'm still pondering, I know I want the carapace gold to give it a daemon engine feel, however I fear the obvious blue for the flesh isn't going to look quite right.

Oh dear, that TS Sorcerer is absolutely stunning

I thank you very much for detailing what kits and pieces you used in your kit-bash. It really helps if one of us decides to "borrow" your idea

Its one of the ironies of it all, I love converting because I want a unique army, but the highest compliment is someone deciding to replicate it

I've recently found some more time to work on this. I've completed the prototype for the Thousand Son marines themselves:

Bits:
Base - Micro Art Studio, (I forget the name)
Legs - Forgeworld, MkIII Iron Marines
Chest Front - GW, Thousand Son Kit
Chest Back - GW, Grey Knights in Power Armour
Arms - GW, Thousand Son Kit
Shoulder Pads - Forgeworld, MkIII Iron Marines
Head - Max Mini, Mecha Egyptian Heads
Backpack - GW, Chaos Backpack Bits
Gun - GW, Thousand Son Kit
Flame - GW, Burning Chariot

Finally got some more models updated:

This third guy is my take on a counts as Kharn the Betrayer. He's put together using:

Legs / Right Shoulder- MkIII Iron amour from Forgeworld
Chest back - Grey Knight Strike Marine from GW
Chest Front / Left Shoulder / Backpack - Thousand Son Conversion kit from GW
Arms - Chaos Space Marine from GW
Pistol - Old plasma pistol from Raptors GW (OOP)
Flame sword - Clipped from one of the parts of the Burning Chariot from GW
Head - Legion Tank Commanders from Forgeworld

Nice progress! Those two finished dudes look good and the Kharn proxy looks like a solid build.
