Ok guys the MK2b is out of stock on the FW website this normally happens when they discontinue the model or are going to replace it like what happened with the lightning fighter. I know a lot of my friends are yearning a more heresy looking assault landraider than the mkIIb delivers. What do you guys think is this a possibility?

No and No lol... The Spartan is not a Landraider. The Proteus pattern is not an Assault Vehicle the mk2b is a Phobos Pattern with assault ramp. But yes that is more in line with how most HH players want the phobos patterns to look (At least the ones ive spoken to)

We are, alas, a wee bit lacking here with regards to actual rumours as such, so I'm going to move this to 40k general.

FW also runs out of stock when they need to replace the mold. I wouldn't read too much into this and if you're really curious the fastest answer will be achieved by emailing them and asking.

Yep, I wouldn't be surprised if they were replacing the mold for this- a lot of people are likely picking up land raiders for their 30k armies, and with a new book coming out in the horus heresy series, they want to anticipate these kinds of orders.
