I just got 3 ork flyers, built and painted such that they can be fielded in any of the three configurations. I don't have any experience with them and was wondering what, if any wisdom was out there in the dakkasphere. You can suggest an entire list if you'd like, or just a unit or so that seems to work well in combination with the planes. I have a reasonably decent assortment of ork things at my beck-and-call... so for now, just let me know what's worked for you and I'll sort it out from there.

If you suggest a list, please keep it between 1K to 2K.

Theres a very good reason for this if you want a competitive list.

However if tourneys are not the aim i have always been a fan of kult da speeds. very fast, lots of dakka and fun to play.

Something like this should get you started:

HQ
Wazdakka
Warboss- Bike, cybork, PK, BP

Troops
6 Nob Bikers- waagh banner, 2 PK, Painboy, 2 Big choppas
7 Warbikers- Nob w/PK
7 Warbikers- Nob w/PK

Fast attack
dakkajet- extra gun
dakkajet- extra gun
dakkajet- extra gun

Thats roughly 1500. something to thinking about.

I'd actually drawn up something very close to that on my own. Don't have quite enough bikers to pull it off yet. Nice to know I was thinking along the correct lines though.

Well you know what they say about great minds

When ever i run 3 dakkajets i always go for a warphead and roll on strategic for the reroll reserves
And just add lootas or bws depending on the way you wanna turn too.
Always when taking a plane do a dakkajet with ESS its your best bet and is the best anti infantry flyers out there

I play against guard and eldar a lot, so I'm rather partial to 3 burnabomma lists to shift those annoying cover campers and indulge my pyro side. They get obscenely expensive though, and dakkajets are objectively better.

I have yet to play vs the new dar so far. But vs guard dakkajets are great for poping cimaras and manticores easy making there heavy tanks a waste
