I wonder if the emperor's flowing locks rival sanguinius'. Then again, the thread would fill with Emperor=Jesus stuff... and that never ends well.

Surprised at the number of people who voted for the bald primarchs, too

Guys, guys! I found it. A picture of the Primarch of the second Legion. And he truly has the best hair:

Spoiler:

I'll take being a lion king fanboy over a twilight fanboy any day of the week. If you really think people are voting for Sanguinius because he was angelic rather than that they play blood angels then I don't know what to tell you. I vote for Lion El'Johnson because I am a dark angel player and love the dark angels. My main thought is in why such a huge amount of people play Blood Angels? It must be because a great deal of people who get into this hobby are twilight types (I won't go into what type that is, but I'm pretty sure we all know)and Blood Angels are the natural choice for these sorts.. I picked Dark Angels because they came in my box set, no other reason.

This isn't reflected just in this thread, look at any thread in which the primarchs are a poll, sanguinius always wins. Why? Twilight.

I really think you are over playing the Twilight thing, Blood Angels were massively popular before Twilight. But I digress I voted Sanguinus because he has the best locks. And I'm a Blood Angels fan boy to boot

Nosferatu?

And I really don't think that Blood Angels popularity is down to Hollywoods bastardisation of a classic horror genre to appeal to Tweens. I do think it would have something to do with the fact that A) they fairly recently had a top tier codex, which put them in the shop window of GW, B) they are a First founding chapter, whose Primarchs was arguably second to none, and played out the matyr in one of the most pivotal scenes of the heresy and C) (this one may just be me) they are Space Marines in red, that like to smash people in the face at high speeds.

And as a side point, whilst I don't mind having a light hearted argument about sexy vampires and who should be the new face of Head and Shoulders, please don't be hypocritical, it was you who originally made this Twilight specific.
