Considering Red's post, I'd suggest that it probably contained bad language or was overly offensive. Remember kids can view this site and we'd like to keep this place as kid friendly as possible.

To be honest, memes aren't all that funny, especially image macro memes. The best image macros that are funny, are ones in which there is something humorous going on in them and the text comments on them and that's it. So posting things like Bad Luck Brian, Scumbag whatever, etc... just gets old.

I should edit my post that Ouze's Dakka Bingo is funny because it's true, that's where humor is derived from, the truth.

I never saw the pic you posted, but I don't think it was the image itself that was offensive, but the fact that you uploaded it to the Dakka gallery, rather than linking it from the site of origin.

I think it was removed as it needed to be hosted on a third party site as dakka doesn't like non wargaming images hosted on the forum.
I think Reds next post is a general warning to everyone at the start of the thread to not spam Dakka with offensive pictures. Then we can't say we weren't warned. - he's kept the thread open though, which I'm surprised about. Normally, meme threads get shot down immediately.

@Bigboss - I'd email/pm Reds8n if you want clarification as to why he's edited your post

Some of those gifs are pretty damn funny. More so if you're not expecting it.

But i agree with Alf. Barring a few exceptional individual images most marcos just aren't that funny. I tend to enjoy the insanity wolf macro, but just because it's usually a bit crude.
I also don't mind the Guadsmen and Tech-priest macros that sprung up on /tg/ a while back. But i think that's mostly because they are 40k related.
