hi all here is the first few units in a small Ultramarine force I have been Working. I just need to add a Dreadnaught, Predator, Scouts, and the main characters (Calgar and Honour guard in progress).

Great looking models, the banner turned out great. The bore on the Heavy Bolter barrels are very well done too, too often you see just a tiny obligatory hole drilled out. I like the big bore.  Although, Captain Sicarius helm crest is normally blue and red rather than red and white.

These look great, in process on some ultras of my own, however I will be making Titus as I like him much better than Cato.
Also I don't think it can be said that "Cato's comb is usually blue and red" considering.
This is probably another "Canon Conflict" that GW is oh so famous for.

It's not canon conflict, it's just the artwork. The shadows in that picture 2 posts above mine looks blue due to the darkness of those sections. But Sicarius's scrub brush has always been red and white.

Looks like that may be the case. For some reason I thought that Sicarius had the red and blue crest, and a "regular captain" has a red and white one. All pretty insignificant thought...the models look great.
