Pic is missing the Phalanx, Roboute Guilliman's 22 kilometer flagship, and the Emperor's epic totally not compensating for micropenis starship that was the size of a country

Also, superstructures are not included in that and it annoys me.

Apocs were pretty cool. But me and my buddies in T1 frigs were way cooler when we popped your 100M ISK carebear battleship.

Prettty typical of anime. Ridiculous proportions and no concept of scale is a trademark of the vapid Japanese genre...
And where is it claimed by anyone that 40k is the "biggest thing in the sky"? Two Star Wars ships are larger than the largest Imperial ships. And no where on here is the Dyson Sphere from ST:TNG Relics, nor the 2 Death Stars. The Imperium only makes up for the "lack" of size by the fact that there are hundreds of them. There were only 3 Super Star Destroyers and one Eclipse Star Destroyer; similarly, the Borg Cube is a mid-size on this chart, but there are thousands of them.
And where is the Space Hulk? Isn't it supposed to dwarf a Battleship? or The Rock?

Halo, Star Wars, 40k, the Culture, Star Trek, Mass effect
Amateurs I say!
You want big?
Star Ruler gives you larger than the arm of a god damn galaxy (and ridiculously more massive) big!
You could fit the fleets of every faction in the above six scifi universes and they'd still be microscopic in comparison.
Sheer scale means that all four universes working in concert would not be able to penetrate the hull of the ship, much less destroy it.
Of course Star Ruler was a needlessly complicated game that ultimately was full of wasted potential.
But building a ship larger than the entire game universe was not only doable, but actually fairly easy.
As a note: 40k ship sizes are extremely inconsistent.
The upper end interpretations put battleships at over 20 kilometers, low end at seven or under, average at about fourteen or so.

Dorn's ship, not Guilliman's .
The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.
"the play's the thing wherein I'll catch the conscience of the king,
It's missing the quite iconic Retribution, as well as other battleship-class ships. Also Abbaddon's planet buster, which may tip the scales to the 40k side a bit. Still not the biggest around, though, but compared to other fictional universes, the 40k universe is consistently big. "Our" frigates and corvettes sit (un)comfortably amongst the heavy cruisers of Star Wars. Our ships of the line rival in size with the space monsters, gigantic battle platforms and superdreadnoughts of other universes.
It'd be wrong to attempt to rationalize it, but still each of those ships play a different role in their respective universes, some of them as narrative or worldbuilding devices, some as gameplay elements. In that sense, the ships of 40k all reinforce the notion that, in this universe, there's no shortage of resources, manpower, and, most importantly, time.
War does not determine who is right - only who is left.

Nope all the primarch's ships were bigger than the Eclipse, and the emperor had his Texas sized pimp ship. This is also missing the planet sized craft worlds.
Anyone know anything more about the Rak'Gol (I'm new so this was the first time hearing of them)? Was kind of surprised to find their ships on there but not Necrons or Tyranids. Were they from way back or a more recent race? What books are the featured in?

The real question is how are over a thousand people living and working on a Galaxy class Federation ship when its only 642 meters long, and yet the interior shots show it being quite spacious.

Of course those were all nearly all one off ships. Unique constructions of which there aren't multiple examples.
The ships shown in the picture are basic ships of the line for their respective factions.
Craftworlds are basically small planets.

The Warspheres are so large because they are both a warship and a colony ship.
