Hi Dakka friends I'm returning to Dakka and painting after doing a tour of Afghan so i haven't painted for a very long time and looking for some inspiration .
I was wondering if any one could point me in the Direction of the Top painters on this site ! As i find nothing works better than seeing an incredible painted Mini

Isn't it rather subjective? Whilst I admire the dedication of people who, for instance, win Golden Daemons, I don't necessarily think their work is the best or what I want to emulate. Just look at lots of pictures until you find something you like.

Look up "Cool Mini or Not" which has some truly amazing models of all types and they do post some tutorials.

Glad you are getting back into it.

Washes/acrylic "inks" are becoming a big thing for amazing results for little work (similar to the "dip" methods).

Mmmmm not really as like any thing in life that looks above the standard level every one wants to strive to be as good as the best thing they see...!
