NIdzilla is a thing, a very wonderful thing that will hopefully be viable next codex.

I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.

Pretty biased poll.

3(4)/5 are imperium armies and only xeno army is "nonesense".

Also squats are not a new army.

I would like to see alien mercenaries which would be designed to work as allies.

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

Mechanicum: Horus Heresy has them.
Squats: He's dead, Jim. Tyranids got them people, let them rest in peace
Adeptus Arbites: In the same game system as Imperial Guard? Not likely, maybe Inquisitor.
Adeptus Custodes: Would love to see them in action, but they don't have the numbers to require an entire codex. Maybe an elite unit for either one of the Inquisition codices someday?

I definitely want to see more alien races. The Horus Heresy series have shown us many different species and empires (only for them to be crushed by the Astartes later on), I'd like to think that there are several more remaining in the galaxy.

OR

Let's get an Ordo Xenos list! Deathwatch squads with exotic weaponry and access to Inquisitors and whatnot. Yay!

Going to say some Xeno nonsense. Would be nice to see something new again. A new main strategy/special powers that hasn't been in the game yet, then again it might be hard to add anything unique, which isn't utterly in use by other factions. To be honest I'd like to have an humanoid specie which uses biological weapons and maybe chemistry as well. Like to have bio-engineered humanoids, something that has utterly forbidden all machining and everything is instead growth or manipulated in labs (like in UFO series aliens (spin off from original X-com series)). I know that Tyranids are exactly bio-engineered weapons of mass-destruction, but I really would want to have a side with ability to think for themselves and not to rely on hive-mind. Also for them being all teeth and sharp claws kinda defeats the purpose of trying to look like civilized specie (not to mention their actions and hunger). xD

Second vote would have been machinarum.

FW seems to be concentrating on the Legio Cybernetic (robots)

Squats - well they got some of them............

Arbites /DeathWatch Kill teams - Would love an Imperial Agents and Auxilaries supplement

Custodes - well they woiuld need to become active again - but can't see there being less of them than Space Marine Chapters that get their Codeex...............

Agreed some good ideas for new races in the HH books

I voted squats but on balance I would go for space rats; these could be uber dynamic models.

Squats could be covered in a supplement of additional races for imperial guard and include the beastmen units you could get for them yonks ago.

I like the idea of Knights but once you get a leader and two troops that would be a 1500 pt force.

Other Posssibles:

Bring back Zoats but divorce them from Tyrannids and make them into the Fantasy Zoats of old. I supposed it would be like a 40K ogre kingdom list.

Lizards (Not Slann) but more like the one in the Harry Turtle Dove alternative WW2 novels. These could be quite dynamic models similar to the snake dark eldar thing.

I used to think about this fairly often. I voted Xenos and I have a few suggestions that already exist in the fluff:

Thexian Trade Lords - they are a "bi-morphic" race with a monsterous battle form and a humanoid form and use this to their advantage to take control of the fringes of society. Their army would be like the Tau but made up of mercenaries (Tarellian Dog soldiers) and the like. GW bonus: you'd have to buy two models for each Thexian.

Space Undead - These are in worlds watched over by the Death Spectres, called the Ghoul Stars. Apparently, they once threatened the galaxy. They could "break out" and wreak havoc. They would be the Vampire counts of 40k to the Tomb Kings, i.e. Necrons. Maybe their reanimation protocol causes dead opponents to become ghouls.

Bhargesi - hyper-aggressive Xenos with some tech. They might be a little too much like Orks but some tweaking could make them unique.

I'd love to see the armies of Mechanicum to form up and join the party. There are already pretty high quality "counts as" -armies that look just wonderful, but it'd be interesting to see how the GW models would look like... if they ever publish such thing beyond "30K"...

I agree. I remember reading in the rulebook that sometime in the past there was a High Lord of Terra that got sent on a crusade during the Golden Age of expansion. He took a ton of forces with him and was never heard from again. This could be all the fluff room necessary to create such a faction. That or find a way that the Interex survived the purge from before the Horus Heresey and are back in force.

Mechanicum. Arbites won't be viable as an army-they're policemen after all. Custodes will also not be viable because it's very rare a large force of them will depart from Terra. And squats...I've never been a fan of them, even if GW changed their name to Demiurg.

Finally found my quote from a gym buddy born and raised in South Korea:
"It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us the freedom of the press.
"It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech.
"It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate.
"It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag."
