Thumbing through my ork codex brought me to the bikers selection, saying that all bikes have the "exhaust cloud" special rule, conferring a 4+ cover save to bikes. This is all and well acceptable until you consider that 6th ed gave bikes jink as a USR.
My question is: does exhaust cloud and jink stack, and how?
My understanding of the material is that ork bikers should be getting a 3 or possibly 2+ Cover save.
Any other inputs?

Saves from different sources do not stack. However, certain special rules or wargear can improve existing saves.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

That way,then left

As stated by Happyjew cover saves from different sources don't stack
for example your ork bikers behind ruins would still use a 4+ cover save. Only rules saying it improves or stack with another cover save do. The exhaust cloud doesn't.

No stack

You just simply get two differnet cover saves, and as per the rules for multiple saves you pick the best, meaning (usually) the Exhaust Cloud

It is a cover save, so anything that improves a cover save would improve the exhaust cloud

They have neither Stealth nor Shrouded. The have Exhaust cloud.
They'll gain the benefit of Night Fighting just fine.

If a tau player removes the cover save for orks then... do they need to do it twice to remove both saves?

Unless they use the M3S?

The markerlights grant ignores cover to the firing unit's weapons, so they won't get cover saves at all.

Unlike Markerlights, it is relevant for things like Eldar Dark Reapers, which will ignore the Jink save but not the Exhaust Cloud.
