I've been trying to find a Raven Guard list that is fluffy/semi-competitive, and I wonder if I just maybe got it right this time. Looking for some thoughts on how the list would do against various xenos and Imperial Guard as I have yet to play anything other than Space Marines, Grey Knights and Sisters of Battle. Thanks for your thoughts.

So although I hate to double post, If you have an opinion, however small, or if you would like to compare your list with mine like Rismonite did, I'd be REALLY glad to hear what you have to say. I don't care if your list stomps mine, just please feed my brain. Otherwise I have no choice but to assume that this list is nothing short of awesome, and that would be your fault.

Your choice (...please comment).

First question would be:
Where are you getting the Power Claws from? Not a weapons option for SM, afaik.

Of all the races of the universe the Squats have the longest memories and the shortest tempers. They are uncouth, unpredictably violent, and frequently drunk. Overall, I'm glad they're on our side!

It looks like you shoot me out of my vehicles with your land speeders and then flame me to death..

I lose.

Looks good to me.

I am the kinda ork that takes his own washing machine apart, puts new bearings in it, then puts it back together, and it still works.

I meant Lightning Claws, of course. Consider it fixed.

Thanks! I appreciate the fact that you actually bothered to post your own list. In that case it seems like it would be the perfect match up for me.

No real benefit from PF/LC combo, LC and PF are "specialist weapons" and only grant +1 attack when used in pairs, I believe.

Page 42 of the Rulebook, states:

"Specialist weapon
A model fighting with this weapon does not recieve +1 Attack for fighting with two weapons unless both weapons have the Specialist Weapon rule.
"

So actually, since they are both specialist weapons they do grant +1 extra attack on the charge and that is the whole point of the LC/PF set-up. In the case of a charge I can either choose 3 Lightning Claw attacks and 1 Power Fist Attack OR 3 Power Fist attacks and 1 Lightning Claw attack. There's some good versatility in that combo allowing me to take on medium AV armor, MC's, challenges, and/or regular troops rather decently.

Besides the models look awesome.

Still working out the new list.
Also working up a RG list as it fits the army style I already had.

Its 4 LC or 4PF attacks, you don't get both at once. Just as if you were using a Power sword and had a bolt pistol you get 4 attacks with the Power sword or if you really wanted the pistol. (though you never would because of its inferior profile)
But you are spot on about specialist weapons just needing to have two, not a matched pair. I just wish Twin Lighting Claw was did something rad. Other than just grant +1 attack.

Huh, didn't know that. I always thought you kind of had to make at least one attack with each weapon since you technically wouldn't be using two weapons otherwise, but I guess this works out just as well for me. Thanks for clearing that up.

Yeah, dual Lighnting Claws should have been given Rending or something. I wouldn't mind that. Ha, ha!
