Yes. Because she knew. It's not a difficult sentence to parse.

I, for example, do not feel misled, because I knew it was complete bs when I heard it. Doesn't mean it wasn't a lie.

That isn't what she said. In fact she said, by way of the word "no" that she didn't feel mislead.

She did dodge lots of questions, though.

Huh?

She admitted that she was complicit to the whole thing.

This illustrates what is wrong with the hardcore "Leftist TM" in the Democratic party. They believe they know better than we do... .and they are more than willing to lie, cheat and legislate laws to force us plebes to comply.

How does one "...lie, cheat and legislate..." a law?

You've just selective used quotation marks to isolate part of what Whembly wrote, essentially changed it into something unrelated, and then used it to attack his argument. Way to lose any credibility you might have had.

Except the entire quote is above it, and not hidden in any way. He gave the entire quote, but when discussing it used a section of it. He even used '...' to denote that it was a part of a sentence, thus not creating a false sense that it was the statement in its entirety. One would have to willfully ignore the content and the context to think there is a fast one being pulled. I am also curious what Whembly means by that statement.

I'll use paraphrasing to make it clear.

Whembly meant the following:

...willing to lie.
...willing to cheat.
...willing to legislate laws to force us to comply.

What Dogma changed it to is:

...willing to lie a law.
...willing to cheat a law.
...willing to legislate a law.

Since the context of Dogma's selective quoting makes ZERO sense taken as a whole, it's a pretty good guess that it's not what Whembly meant. Which is convenient since it isn't what he wrote.

No, he did not. In fact he specifically left the words "a" and "law" outside of the relevant quotation marks.

So the Number 3 House Democrat decided to blame the sound bite culture
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2013/11/17/clyburn-obama-failed-to-explain-health-care-promise/?hpt=hp_t2

Washington (CNN) - The No. 3 House Democrat on Sunday blamed a culture of sound bites for President Barack Obama's reneged promise that Americans would be able to keep their existing health insurance plans under the Affordable Care Act.

"And this is a sound bite that the President probably needed to take some more time to explain to the American people," Rep. James Clyburn, D-South Carolina, said Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union with Candy Crowley."

After millions of people received cancellation notices for their health plans, Obama faced considerable pushback over his promise to Americans that the new health care reform would not affect those who are already happy with their insurance policies.

"If you like your health insurance, you can keep it," Obama repeatedly told Americans when selling his signature piece of legislation.

After that turned out not to be the case, Obama on Thursday announced his administration would allow insurance companies to extend those canceled policies for a year.

Clyburn, the House assistant Democratic leader, said Obama relied too heavily on a sound bite-friendly selling point, rather than spelling out that he was only referring to plans in place before the Affordable Care Act became law in 2010 and hadn't changed since.

"One of the things in Washington that I dislike more than anything else is when people say to me, 'If you're explaining it, you're losing it.' I don't like that at all. I really believe the American people are deserving of explanations," he said, also blaming the media for not fully explaining the new legislation.

With recent polls showing the President is considered less trustworthy than in the past, Obama on Thursday said he expects he'll need to regain Americans' faith after the rocky rollout of HealthCare.gov and his broken promise about existing plans.

Clyburn said he was confident Obama can do so.

"Paradise lost, paradise regained. When you lose something you can find it again," he said. "The President admitted that he expects to be held responsible for regaining the Americans' trust, and I think he will."

You're wrong. Read the Sentence. It means

"Leftists" are willing to ...

...lie to force us plebes to comply.
...cheat to force us plebes to comply.
...legislate law to force us plebes to comply.

It wasn't that hard to read that correctly. You have to be purposefully missing the point, which isn't wholly unexpected.

What do you mean?

Okay... thought about this some more...

Let’s review the lies:

1] You can keep your insurance.

2] It is not a tax. (not exactly his fault... but, it ended up that way.)

3] It will be as easy as shopping on Priceline (or was it Kayak?).

4] The average family will see reductions in health care costs.

5] The uninsured will have insurance.

6] Your coverage will be better.

None of the above is true.

It was a failed idea. It was an obvious failure to many when it was proposed. But the ideological blinders of the hard left of the Democratic party (with serious strong armed influences over the rest of their caucus) insisted on following their leader in a cult like fashion have led us to this.

How else can you explain this?

EDIT: Here's exhibit A...

Absolutely cringe worthy, especially since Obama already acknowledged the broken promise after dragging his feet for days. Judging by Pelosi's performance... some Democrats are still in denial.

I'd love for an explanation why you purposefully pulled a section of quote that left out the actual Crux of the argument, which was things politicians do to "force us to comply".

But that not what he said. At all. You took it out of context from the quote as a whole to what? Put words into his mouth?

I can read the quote as written and understand that the purpose was what I've stated about 4 times now: that "Leftists" will lie, cheat and legislate laws to force [people] to comply.

Lie to force people to comply.
Cheat to force people to comply.
Legislate laws to force people to comply.

Just like the sentence reads.

You have to deliberately misread it to create "lie and cheat to legislate laws" or "lie a law" or "cheat a law" or whatever other nonsense you're trying to create here.

Okay... I'll bite...

Everyone involved... Obama, Democrat Congress critters and administration (ie, HHS) always knew that lots of people losing their current insurance plans was not merely an accidental side feature... but a frick'n central premise of a functional PPACA rollout.

People had to get kicked off of their plans at current market prices and start paying for more expensive ones in order to account for the inherently riskier insurance pools that the PPACA creates... due to primarily the preexisting conditions limitations and requiring everyone with more “comprehensive” coverage.

As I posted earlier... Gillibrand and her ilk, despite knowing that the administration's was fibbing all along... enthusiastically parroted these same talking points.

Why?

I'm really getting tired of this. Dogma can obviously read and he knew enough about what was meant to strip a snippet and form it out of context. On top of that, he's still saying that he doesn't understand even though three of us have explained it. He's simply trolling so just click the ignore button and let's get on with the topic.

Consequence, not premise. PPACA was not designed to force people to lose their current insurance plans.

One of the "talking points" you referenced seems to be derived from a source that is not associated with any member of the Democratic Party.

I think perhaps we're straying off from the actual topic a bit too far. The odd diversion is both inevitable and at times desirable, but I think we're best served moving off from this particular tangent.

Thanks.
