Never Forget Isstvan!

I have been wanting to run a campaign for fantasy for a while now, and I have finally gotten around to starting with the basics. I was thinking of maybe buying blood in the badlands to help me run it. But I was wondering if anyone else has any better suggestions or what not. There would be around a dozen players potentially, almost all armies covered and all fairly experienced.

Blood in the Badlands is a good source to build your own campaign rules out of. I wouldn't use it and only it.

Okay cool, I didn't know if it was worth it for the price tag but it seemed like a decent option. Any other supplements or books to help?

If you can, try to find a copy of the General's Compendium. Its a fantastic campaign resource. It was put out for 6th or 7th edition of WHFB, but is easily adaptable. I highly recommend it.

The General's Compendium is the go-to starter, as far as I'm concerned. The Border Princes campaign it's got prepackaged inside is actually what got me excited about Warhammer in the first place! The old-school Mighty Empires rules are also worth a peek, if you can find it and like charts.
