My opponent is playing chaos space marines i know for sure he runs 2 hell drakes a bike unit 3 units of obliteraters and i think he said nurgle marines and a daemon prince

So here is what i came up with
Plan is to stick belial with the dev squad so they have a 4++
The tactical squad is held in reserve for late game objectives, combat squad the termies putting both launchers on 1 squad, this gives me a target with prescience
The CMD squad is riding in the LRC with the librarian as a PLASMA Bomb squad

I figured with all the shooting i have i should be able to ground his fliers and his helldrakes.

I would like some honest C&C
Should i change to codex SM? Should i add a banner? Should i remove venerable for flakk missels on a tact squad?

I don't think it looks too bad as a counter to CSM. Although I'm not a DA player. It does seem really light on troops though.

Hell drakes are less scary against erminators because they still get their 2+. The LRC should keep your guys safe if they show up. I'd recommend putting Azrael in the LRC maybe? That way that whole squad has FNP and a 4++. Maybe put the librarian with the devastators to give them prescience, and find points to add a PFG so they also have a 4++? Basically, those Hell Drakes aren't getting through your armor so easily

I think you could definitely drop one of the dreads to get those extra points you need too. Then if you can proxy and ADL for the devs to stand behind that might not be a bad idea. Use the sergeant, librarian, or one extra dude to man the quad gun and take down flyers with ease.

Could drop another dreadnought and get more tacticals on that squad or more terminators.

Overall, I think you need a few more scoring bodies. Dreadnoughts are OK but if he is running 3 oblitereators squads they are going to get ... ahem... oblitereated I would try and cut out at least one for that ADL + PFG and stick the librarian in front. Or have him bounce around with the terminators.

Another thought is using the banner of fortitude (cut the apothecary) on the command squad. It is damn expensive, but if you deep strike in a squad of terminators alongside them you will have a 4++ bubble FNP plasma death squad accompanied by 5 TH/SS FNP terminators... yeah... that's gross haha. And better yet, immune (mostly) to those Hell drakes. Send that squad after his demon prince, who won't want to be flying based on the flakk squad and ADL idea. As soon as he crashes, plasma all over his face and charge with TH/SS FNP if necessary.

I planned on running azreal with the devs to tank and a 4++ the plasma squads run with the Libby whom I could possibly free up 30 points for

I really enjoy running the TL Autocannons for anti hellchickens, but three is a bit excessive. Getting another 10 man tac squad that you could stick on another objective might be better. Its a target for the space ducks, yes, but at the end of the day objectives win games. Just my thoughts.

Well I have 5 more marines so I could pump it up too a 10 man but I don't have anymore heavy weapons... He does have cultist somewere so a flamer could come in handy. I ran 3 because of low model count but more Anti tank wepons is always a plus. my original list was 2 5 man termie squads but making the dreads vulnerable and not running the Command squad adding im another dev squad with proxy weapons but I like this list better with the models i have maibly the plasma bomb with the Libby it just seems scary should I try and get an auspex?
