Thanks for the link to the Dropship review Captain. It gave a clear view of what would be involved in putting the thing together. That, plus the general issues with AVP gives it a pass from me.

Battle Systems, who had AVP minis showing off their very first sci-fi terrain have now launched a follow up (this is KS #4 for them while we're waiting for this). It was fully funded in minutes, and the stretch goals are just starting.

I believe somebody posted a link to some alternative, unofficial rules to use with AvP. Does anybody remember the name of the rules or the hosting site?

My order was actually shipped from Archon rather than Prodos, so you could try reaching out to them. The full company name on the shipping note was Archon SP.ZO.O. which brings up this website: http://www.archonspzoo.pl/en/index.phtml However this seems to be metal work rather than plastic, and the address is slightly different, but mine could have come from a warehouse rather than the main office. I hasten to add this is guess work on my part, so they could be two totally different companies.

I can't tell what status Prodos has with shipping. Here's how Prodos -- er, Archon -- is doing with LOAD:

By the current state of production, shipping will start in about 2-3 weeks, depending on box delivery as they are being produced by external source. We will have more precise information by the next update.

Of course, rules and gameplay aren't miniatures, so I'm curious how the reviews will go.

I've mentioned the Battle Systems sci fi terrain that got me interested in AVP. They've just added infested walls/ floors etc in a teaser for the last days of their kickstarter.

Back in their first one, the infested walls/ floors were part of the design. So I generally had them as already infested parts of a base. Or an egg chamber. That sort of thing.

Here, it looks as though they clip onto walls/ floors. So, it could make for some very interesting scenarios where the infestation is ongoing. Potentially cutting off routes, really differentiating where aliens can be extra sneaky, and the start up for egg chambers if the other factions don't get a move on.

Yeah, I had thought the same - so sorry for you guys, so glad I ended up not going in on the KS.

Last I had heard, "wave 3"(?) had been shipped - besides though who haven't recieved anything, what is still outstanding overall?

Wave 3 has not shipped, at least not to all backers. I got my initial shipment ages ago (base game and wave 1 and some available at the time wave 2 stuff).

I have not gotten a fething thing since then.

There is no other ''soon'' in Prodosian Only KS they care is LOAD one, as part of camouflaging for Archon not being run by same people.
