I agree with above said statement! Throw in a hells yeah! Nice layering!

Crush your enemies, see them driven before you and to hear the lamentations of the women.

Very nice! I would have gone for a different blue, but that's just personal preference. The chapter design on the shoulder looks a little different to the Blood Raven decals I've seen, did you free hand it? I've found a couple printable blood raven decal sheets if you're interested.

This was the librarian from Dawn of War 2 expansion if you haven't seen it and wanted some ideas. I'm using a lot of the DoW stuff in my Blood Raven army plans. Also a BR logo from the game.

Edit: Added a couple BR librarian pics I've found on the internet when looking for inspiration for my own models. I'd spoiler them but they're attached so don't think I can.

The one in OP is leaps and bounds above those posted lower down!

Very nice work, Very tidy and clean. Keep it up!
The icon does look a bit skinny, but its still tidy and clean, so it looks fine.

I wouldn't say the OP's is leaps and bounds better then the others. It certainly is a beautiful paintjob, don't get me wrong. But i think the two Yonan posted suffer from bad photos rather then a lesser paintjob.

Look at the face and parchement work on the top one Yonan posted. It's sensational.
The lower one has got some pretty subtle OSL coming off the sword, but it is hard to tell due to the photo being ever so slightly out of focus + it's kinda at a bad angle.

That's shaping up quite nicely (to put it incredibly mildly). The blue gets a bit rough below the knees, though. Has a speckled look, like an airbrush that started sputtering. Intended as weathering or simply not finished? I'd either push the effect farther or clean up the paint, depending on your intent.

No, I wouldn't say that the OP's is "leaps and bounds" better that the two posted lower. While I do think paintjob wise, it is the best, I've always had a love for helmeted marines and so I am biased towards the bottom one. For the librarian that pete made. are you going to paint the shoulder rim?

Okay.... maybe I exagerated lol
But I do think its a much nicer, cleaner looking job. That wins more points than any special effects in my book.
Might be the photo quality, but the paint looks to be thinner and shows of the model more, also having an advantage for being that shiney new librarian plastic figure, I do like the new laser etched molding that theyve been working with, the product speaks for itself.

Again, this.
