A few weeks ago I got this idea for an interesting painting scheme, and thought I'd use it for this Chaos lord I had converted earlier. Was very happy with how he turned out, what do you think?

In case you wondered, no, he is not Tzeentchian.

Absolutely gorgeous, but I would hate to think how long that would take to paint over an entire army...

Looks good. Shield "pops" nicely.

Is the sword washes over boltgun/silver?

Thanks all. It is as I have been saying for quite some time - if you want to make a miniature into a real piece of art, you need to find a model that you like, and a painting scheme that you love.

- Albinoork: That's right, his sword is painted by painting boltgun metal with blue, black and green washes.

I just wanted to point out, that the stars on his cloak actually makes up some of the star signs. Can you see which ones?

I see Orion.

Oh? That's a bit odd, because I didn't intend to paint that one. Then again, I didn't exactly place them exactly at their right place, either...
No, the ones I painted was Pegasus, Cassiopeia, Cancer, Ursa Major, Canis Minor and Draco.

That is an amazing colour scheme!

I am guessing with the colours and the star designs this will be a Tzeentch army?

- Rohansoldier: No, actually not. Truth is that I had earlier made up some fluff about my Beastmen herd, how they had found a minor Chaos god whom they decided to begin and follow, and that a smaller group of humans as well had begun doing that. Including the Dusk Knight (who then again, earlier had a different name). It can be read here, if you are interested: http://z8.invisionfree.com/herdstone/index.php?showtopic=23388&st=0
