Just downloaded the new supplement to the Tau, and from what I am reading, I am checking in to make sure this list is one, competitive, and two legal.
HQ
Commander Farsight
O'Vesa
Commander
- Missile Pod
- Missile Pod
- Drone Controller
- Target Lock
- Marker Drones (2)
TROOPS
XV8 Crisis Team (3)
- Shas'ui
- Fusion Blaster (3)
- Stimulant Injector (3)
- Target Relay (2)
- Talisman of Arthas Moloch (Shas'ui)
- Bonding Knife Ritual
Fire Warrior Team (12)

FAST ATTACK
Pathfinder Team (5)
- Grav-inhibitor Drone

- Ion Rifle (1)
Pathfinder Team (5)

- Ion Rifle (1)
HEAVY
Sky Ray Missile Defense Gunship
- Disruption Pod
Sky Ray Missile Defense Gunship
- Disruption Pod
Now I understand that every unit that can, MUST, take the Bonding Knife Ritual. I also am slightly confused by the XV8 Crisis Command Team entry, but, in place of running that Team, you select from his 7 folks and they are IC's. Now, I read somewhere else about running Farsight, O'Vesa and the Commander together as a "group". Was that something legal to do? I have also read on the only one Signature System debate that hasn't been resolved as from what I am reading. Just curious...

Ok, the reason to run O'Vesa and Farsight is to create a tough super unit.
It looks like this...
Farsight can join star, better no scatter DSing Fusion Suits unless you are concerned about slay the Warlord. If you are concerned about Assault, put with the Star to take Hit and Run tests on I5)
O'Vesa
Riptide, drones, HBC, Velocity Tracker, Target Lock,
Allied Buff Commander(Pen, C&CN, MSS, Vecotored Retro Thrusters)
This gives you a two riptide unit that is alwasy twinlinked with ignore cover and a choice of Tank Hunter or Monster Hunter. The HBC Riptides can shoot another target with. It puts out a considerable amount of firepower.
I'd recommend dropping a pathfinder squad and a Skyray to take an HBC Riptide so you can join the allied Commander(Buff Commander) and O'Vesa to it. Otherwise, at least turn one Pathfinder Squad into a Marker Drone squad to utilize the Drone Controller, or better yet run your Suits with dual Missile Pods and 2 marker drones each with Target Locks to Split fire effectively with BS5 Markerlights.
Either way, your list needs a lot of work.
As to signature systems, until the print book is out the Ibook version it is pretty clear that you can't have duplicates, ie ECPA on O'Vesa and another Riptide.
Hope that helps.

Appreciate the assistance. Please advise on the following statement, I am not that savvy that I understand the following: Farsight can join star, better no scatter DSing Fusion Suits unless you are concerned about slay the Warlord. If you are concerned about Assault, put with the Star to take Hit and Run tests on I5)
You want me to add a unit and drop a unit so trying to understand what you mean by "A Lot of Work?"
There is a difference in the released supplement and the regular iBook version Tau, some point to the way its stated in the new supplement. Doesn't matter to me really either way, I am not trying to use two systems in the same list at the moment. Is there another list on here you can point me to to assist me in understanding your points? I have been working alot with SWs lately so my mindset is a little off.. lol

Pretty bad loadout considering the rest of your list. He needs to be a buff commander and taken from the Allied Codex:Tau Emprie
Give him Iridium Armor, Pen, MSS, C&CN
--Not as familar with terms like "Buff Commander" for Tau?
Otherwise, drop pathfinders for a Marker Drone Squad. Right now his Drone Controller has no use
--Do you think this is a better alternative?
TROOPS
XV8 Crisis Team (3)
What is the point of this squad? Why only one weapon each? Why Stim Injectors? Why Target Relays? Why put the Talisman Here? Better on a Riptide
--With Farsight I had to take one 3 Crisis Team. Was planning on DS them with Farsight and taking out armor. I guess I could place the Talisman somewhere else. I can put 2 Fusions and some Target Relays?
Fire Warrior Team (12)
Fire Warrior Team (12)
Another is a waste of points, better spend being part of an allied contingent for a Buff Commander
--I like having set of FWs, is two sets too many or should I put some more XV8s in there?
FAST ATTACK
Pathfinder Team (5)
Should be Marker Drones if you are keeping the Mark'O Commander
--I will replace with Marker Drones
Pathfinder Team (5)
HEAVY
Sky Ray Missile Defense Gunship
- Disruption Pod

My preferred list to run with Enclaves is dual missile pod suits with marker drones (as already described in an earlier post) just equip the commander with the talisman and drone controller,2 marker drones, 2 mpods and a target lock an stick him with a crisis team that have dual mpods, target lock and some marker drones so they can provide ML where needed and take out something else.
Combo that with some more dual mpod equipped suits and maybe some more marker drones and concentrate your fire on units to smash them to pieces. A few hammerheads to take out big stuff and may a riptide or two with interceptor to scare drop pods an termies and to draw fire ( because riptides are huge bullet sponges! Lol)
I'm still learning playing with enclaves and target priority is a biggy when playing with low model count armies, so it's got a bit of a learning curve, but when one squad is putting out 12 S7 AP4 shots and then jump jetting away to hide again and you're doing that with 2 or 3 squads it's a damn fine shooting phase!
Or of course optimise to play the O'Vesa star and just scare people with a huge number of riptides!

Ok, at work at the moment, I will re-work the list later this evening and repost. Appreciate the advice, it makes more sense to me now
