Not designed to be super competitive but want to win some games and gave fun.

It has a little bit of everything tzeentch but i think those units of horrors may not last too long expecially against shooty armies. I get though why you have them split up like that I can just see them fading out really quick. The rest of the army are hard hitters but again dont take damage that well. If they get hit will most likely crumble. The greater demon will hold his own but I dont think he will make a difference much as far as combat goes. You WILL own the magic phase BUT I think you will have so many possiable casters you wont have enough dice to use them all to max potential and that may be a waste. Right now you have the ability to cast up to 10 spells per phase, there is no way you will have the dice for that. Maybe having 2 units of 25 horrors or a unit of 20 and one of 30 might be more benificial to you in the game.

I see your point. I was thinking of taking the tzeentch primary spell and trying to cast it on 1 die each. That's only 4 dice and the rest for the big man.

Those 10 man units if they take 3 wounds from shooting they are taking checks. Lots of armies will hurt this list and do it quickly. Its like trying to play wood elves but you dont have dryads and treemen. If i were you I would look for something that has some staying power and can compete in CC.

Well, if you take a burgle bsb, in a block of bearers as well as two units of drones, you'll have a competitive list.

On a side note, counting the time until Experiment 626 comes in to rant about the new Demons book.

How about a list then you suggest?

It seems you're not really taking any of the power house units of the codex (Skull Crushers, Skull Cannon, Flesh hounds, Plague drones, beasts, slaanesh chariots).

You're playing a noncombat list that doesn't have much mobility. I feel Slaanesh is the go to god for this type of list.

Unfortunately in this book Tzeentch is just a support god and is by some distance the worst mono God army.

Nurgle bsb does nothing for me. If I added plaguebearers he would only help 1 unit.

LoC: greater, lesser

Nurgle Bsb: regen locus(I think)

30ish bearers: full command

6ish 10 man horror squads.

4 drones: poisoned, standard, muso

4 drones: poisoned, standard, muso

The LoC can be subbed for a GUO

Regent locus is pointless, go super poison or just get Epidemus.

But otherwise that is pretty much the way forward.

Maybe instead of the fiends I do 3 screamers?

Russ Veal did 3 screamers to great effect at the last clash.

Seem solid. 9 attacks and 10 points cheaper then fiends. Also good for warmachine hunting.

I meant combinations of. My bad.

So I ended up playing two games last night and followed some Of the suggestions you guys have me.

Game 1 vs woc we might as well not discuss... Lol

I couldn't kill the stupid op nurgle prince. I used the following:

Guo
Nurgle bsb
4 beasts
4x 10 pink horrors
3 screamers
2 khorne cannons
Large unit of bearers

Turn 1 he goes first and flies forward with chimera and prince. Then his hell cannon direct hits guo and he does 6 wounds killing him outright.

Game folded at that point. Haha

Game 2

Vs orcs and gobbos

I used

Guo
Nurgle bsb
Bearers
Khorne herald
Bloodletters
2x 3 screamers
Tzeentch burning chariot.

Very good game. Ended up killing his lvl4 and bsb with killing blow and had a major victory.
