Hey, I know that the R'Varna has only got experimental rules but could you look at this list as if it was approved as it is. I have play tested with the R'Varna and I have to say I am very impressed with its capabilities.

Here is the list:

1000pts Farsight Enclave

HQ - Ethereal

Troops - 3x Crisis Suits + Bonding Knives
Troops - Crisis Suit + Bonding Knife

Elites - XV104 Riptide w/Ion Accelerator + Fusion Blaster + EWO
Elites - XV104 Riptide w/Heavy Burst Cannon + Fusion Blaster + Velocity Tracker
Elites - XV104 Riptide w/Heavy Burst Cannon + Fusion Blaster + Velocity Tracker

Heavy Support - XV107 R'Varna Battlesuit

What do you think? The idea is to start w/all 4 MC on the board and reserve both my troops and HQ and deep-strike/walk on from reserve to claim objectives.

I doubt you'll get many comments or opponents on such a list honestly, 4 tides in 1k points what feedback do you expect really?

Yeah, it's possibly too powerful for a 1K game.

I would switch over to C:TE and do the following:

Commander w/ MSSS, CCN, Penchip, VRT - 140

10 Kroot w/ 1 hound - 65

10 Kroot w/ 1 hound - 65

10 Kroot w/ 1 hound - 65

Riptide w/ HBC, VT, fusion - 200

Riptide w/ Ion, fusion, VT - 205

R'Varna - 260

1,000 on the nose.

Commander goes with whichever big dude that benefits the most (depending on opponent) and Kroot usually outflank.

Your opponents will hate you.

I actually prefer this list to the one I had made but I would make a slight alteration to it so it would become this:

HQ - Commander w/MSSS + C&C Node + PENC + VRT
= 140

Troops - 10x Kroot w/Hound
Troops - 10x Kroot w/Hound
Troops - 10x Kroot w/Hound
= 195

Elites - XV104 Riptide w/HBC + Fusion + Skyfire + Counter-fire Defence System
Elites - XV104 Riptide w/HBC + Fusion + Skyfire
= 405

Heavy Support - R'Varna Battlesuit
= 260

Needs markerlight support to be worthwhile,
Unsupported Riptides are just average.

Illegal list as far as I know you can't take a 107 in an enclave force. If I was playing a grey knight list with coteaz 2 small acolyte squad and 3 dread knights I would take you on.
