So I'm in the middle of a Rouge Trader game and my crew has nearly all to chaos in the path of Tzeentch and me and two other characters have turned in the party and have by the powers of Tzeentch became psykers in secret. However the ship picked up a lot of Tzeentch cultist and i was wondering if the Rubric of Ahriman could be cast by party members and npcs on the ships crew.

i understand that this was a strong spell cast by the most powerful psyker of the Thousand Suns yet i think if we tricked a daemon in to host and said he would be free if he helped cast the spell for us is this possible daemon hosts are possible within the game and making them can be done but would a daemon know the rubric spell.

I also wish to know which amour is the most cheapest and sealed to give to all the ship crew except for the none essentials to an silent automaton army of death, cooks toilet cleaners.

would automatons improve the ship by any chance?

Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

That's... drastic!

Probably simple environment suits would work, but damage to the suits could be a problem.

so that would be yes to be able to cast it?

Also Chaos is always drastic!

you see i don't want the GM to get in my way of power!

yeah the suites might be good for most but i do need a boarding party. so how many guys would you think should get the good amour?

I believe the Rubric was secret (either to Ahirman or his cabal) and either way encompassed the entire chapter.

I'd expect that what you'd need is either a sorc who participated or witnessed it, or a sorc who's got an incredible understanding of how psychic powers work, and then they'd need to be pretty strong and be able to heavily reverse engineer it to be useable on a smaller scale.

Re: daemon knowing the power... I think Ahriman was deceived (who'd-a-thunk it?) by either Tzeentch or a greater daemon when learning the power, so... maybe? You'd probably, again, need a very specific daemon.

I haven't specifically played RT, but would suggest go old-school if you can, and find the heaviest-weight hazard suits you can.

Presumably a ship run by automatons would be less likely to be shaken, tired, or scared and have a poorer ability to react to new threats.

i see well i might have such a guy you see who we came across a Thousand Son sorcerer who took over a gang of criminals so perhaps he might help as we sold him a halo device once before and he would want to give us anything for a second one so perhaps he might be able to help thanks your advice. lol he might not know of the first one cause we sold it to him 8 years in the future.
